Hello everyone.

I'm playing a level 28 Smuggler with Cybertech and Slicing.

In the early levels I got 2 schematics to make ship parts, then nothing more.

Today I started doing some heavy slicing with all my 3 companions and I got loads of mission items for various crewskills, but no schematics.

Are there some missions that have a better chance of giving a schematic? I'm interested in the 17-24 range right now, to get Grade 2 parts.

The drop rate has gone down, so it's going to be tougher. I used to be swimming in the stuff - rather annoying actually. Not sure which missions give the highest probability now post-1.2. I've just been spamming sliced parts missions.

I get lots of cybertech schematics from slicing lock box missions, but just ship parts and speeder schematics. Which never sell. I finally just started a cybertech alt to use them, lol.

Yep, been running almost exclusively parts missions here too.

 

Only thing I can suggest is keep track of the level. For the most part, the lvl range of the item the schematic makes need to be within the level range of the missions.

Only Lockbox missions drop Cybertech schematics and Mission Discoveries.

Only Tech Parts missions drop Augment schematics.

 

All mission drops are level appropriate, meaning the level of the item you will receive will be around the level of the mission. So if you wan lower level items, run a lower level mission.
