Remember, I'm talking development budgets, not marketing also. SWTOR's $200 million doesn't include marketing.

Here's a list up til 2010, with GTA4 topping it at $100 million. No Madden listed there, as the license is probably the only expensive part of it.

SWTOR doesnt have a 200 million dollar advertising budget. So thats really not saying much. Fact is MW2 cost more then SWTOR.

Don't get offended but here's the thing. I asked my wife to check this thread for me. She's a doctorate student in biotechnology. She uses statistical analysis almost everyday. She uses complex statistics equations beyond my comprehension. She's a scientist who tries to help some people living a better life and I'm so proud of her. Anyway, I asked her if she could spare some time and read this thread. She told me that she had a good laugh about it and it'd be (and I quote) "a waste of time to try to reason with some of them". Enough said.

So I guess EA spent zero dollars marketing SWTOR is what you're saying. Nice of all those networks to give them free advertising during prime time.
