This is the problem SW:ToR faces IMO.

I like PvP.

They world was not built for world pvp to happen much you quest in different places of the world..
Ilum turned into a laggy unbalanced mess do to the engine and horrible faction imbalance.

So it looks like we get to look forward to more warzones and maybe some small scale combat which is fine, EXCEPT.

How many people want to play 15 bucks a month for years to finally get the content that is in WoW, today. This game needs content where you say , OMG I can't do that in WoW.

The biggest thing in SW:ToR was the story and VO but most people are done 90% of it. Except for maybe sections of class story but it such a small part of the whole story that it's not worth it.

I play this game because I like Star wars and if Blizzard never gets someone to compete with them they can just sit on their butts cashing checks and the gerne will never improve

Storytelling. And the devs have been saying for YEARS that if you don't like story, then this isn't the game for you. If you came here anyway, not liking story, that's your own damned fault, no one else's.

Pretty accurate, also add in that you can watch all the voice acting you want on YouTube for free. You can also read a book, watch a movie, or play a single player RPG instead of paying $15 a month to listen to voice acting.

That can't be the only draw though, if you put a MMO story up against a single player games story it will get crushed and i don't have to pay 15 bucks a month

So is an empty body and frame a car? Or is the engine, wheel, crank shaft, rear axle etc what makes it a car? Getting my point yet? If not there is no point in bothering to reply. Half a car is not a car ITS HALF A CAR an engine isn't a car it's an engine all these things add up to make a car.

I disagree. The stories in TOR aren't really much better than the stories in other MMOs and aren't nearly as good as Bioware's single player storylines (due to technical limitations). The critical difference is the delivery. Bear in mind, I'm a lore nerd in both SW and Warcraft, so I take the time in both to really enjoy the stories. In Warcraft that meant reading everything. In TOR, it means listening (and reading select things). But the stories presented in Warcraft are just as deep as the stories presented in TOR, if one takes the time to pay attention.

I truly think the stories in TOR are some of the worst work Bioware's done. The delivery is top notch. But the stories are rather forgettable.

If this is their one claim and what they believe is going to carry their product for a long period of time, they should start looking for new jobs now. People aren't going to pay $15 a month to hear the same story over and over again, it just isn't going to happen. If BioWare wants this to be a story, then they need to expect it to be treated like a book. People are going to pick it up, read it, and then put it on the shelf and not touch it again for a very long time, if ever again.

EDIT: I forgot to offer a counter point.....

If this was true, why did BioWare do nothing but focus on PvP at PAX 2011 right before launch?
