No it's not foolish, quite the opposite. If you spend a significant share of your resources satisfying the most demanding 1% of your customer base, you are simply wasting resources.

They need a lfg tool asap as the in order to save the game, as the game is getting ridiculous. All 3 of my lvl 50 char dps, healer and a tank cannot even finish a weekly heroic quest EOT for last week after spaming in chat for like an hour. And the server have an average 150 ppl in the fleet (harbringer). talking about lfg tool destorying the community the community is already having problems.

Yes oh great messiah, bring us LFD and save us all from oblivion. Or perhaps sit back and relax, mergers are coming. Also it's not biowares fault that a handful of players had to rush to level cap way ahead of everyone else.

It's unbelievable the disillusioned people in this thread.

When all is said and done - we pay BW monthly to bring us at the minimum, a typical MMO experience.

Something as simple as a LFG tool should have been implemented in beta - not a half a year after the game was released. This alone has brought everything social in the game to a crawl, and I'm not even gonna bring up the low population servers.

It's one thing to feel entitled and the next to expect the bare essentials from a multi-million dollar company who produces LESS than the bare essentails IN OVER 5 YEARS OF PRODUCTION!

Pretty sure they wanted it to be more successful than WAR... So they opened up too much to the community, who blurred it so bad, we got what we got.

This is one time where BioWare should have actually realized that what the community wanted was not in their own best interest, ignore them, and just do what they do best.
Your rabid defense is admirable at times, but to blame the community for ILUM (and defend the performace issues) is staggering.

ILUM was a badly thought out disaster , withdrwn soon after release, and Iin BWs own words it's 'back to the drawing board' , it's not like they had years to plan, design , develop, test and QA...oh wait they did.

Go learn to make friends online or do you need a tool for that too? It is no game companies fault if their playerbase is inept and incapable of making friends.

Going by some of the sensationalism and invective conjured in this thread, I can see where making friends would be a somewhat onerous task for them.

Once D3 comes out the playerbase will smooth out and mergers will happen and most, if not all, of the crowd who are stomping their feet for an LFD will flock to it leaving the players who want an MMO, to a fun game. Bioware is doing the right thing, they are trying to bring back traditional MMORPG'ing.

I would like to add that while an LFD/LFG would solve grouping issues, the consequences that come with it surpass the ideal use of it. Who likes easy mode content raise your hand?
