So...yeah...I'm farming 'em too.
Yay I've just received last one! Got all 8 customs. Now farming for crystals for future alts ;p

Exactly, its complainers that will save the game. Fanboys like JeramieCrowe who defend games like a passion are the ones that dont care how bad a game is, though i am sure Bioware loves you guys after all you give them money even though they release a average product.

The truth, which I've posted over and over again, is that BioWare needs to do server transfers. Are you saying they don't? Because you're saying that my belief that server transfers are needed is me in "denial".

And they already have started server transfers.

I am a level 50 who bought a three month subscription when the game launched and quit about one month after the game launched. I did most of the buggy raid content and quit because i could not get people do to the HM FP's. I sat in chat spamming LFG Heroic anything and never found anyone. I would consider returning if they actually added a real LFG system. The current "system" they have is awful.

The PVP was so boring and generic that i just got all the gear within two weeks and stopped playing it. It just wasnt fun. Ilum was absolute trash when i quit and was shocked when they "improved" it with the first patch to Ilum. They changed the dailies where you needed to get kills. It was absolutely awful. Just a huge cluster F***. In general Ilum was just poorly thought out from the start.

Bioware made a big mistake by focusing so much on story. I got bored very quickly with the story and have no plans on ever leveling another character. The leveling was very boring too. Never was interested in most of the side quests. The main story line was interesting, but they clearly put too much time into it and it really the rest of the game suffered as a result. Bioware's best work was the story, but i want game play and content first A game with a bad story but tons of plot holey content and good game play is a much better alternative.

Developing an MMO where leveling is the most important goal just doesnt seem like a good idea to me. Leveling exists only to give the user a firm understanding on how to play the game. It should not be the meat of the experience.
While I think you've made some valid points, I can't at all agree that BW made a 'mistake' by focusing on story. For me, that is precisely why I came.

What I hope for going forward is more options for story lines frankly. More areas so there are choicesand an option to have a completely different experience from your last character. And I believe that will come with time.

I think, what you refer to as 'the game' is really the part of the game that you enjoy. BW has their hands full trying to make something for all of us. But from the git'go, they have been clear that the focus would be on story, just as KOTOR 1&2 where.

Seems to me like your saying that the path to endgame is a pain for you....for me that's the point of the game. To each....

Sorry, but that is one heck of a stawman you're stuffing there.

Your characterization is more of a cartoon than resembling many, if anyone..

Complaining is frankly a pain in the arse for most folks...and it is HARDLY the only way to save the game. It is entirely possible to make a good case on specific issues that the game has (there are plenty of issues that the community and devs are well aware of already). And it's always a good thing, when bringing an issue up, to try to do so with a little perspective. Each of us are not the ONLY person with interests. there are other players with differing views and wishes. And the devs have a tough assignment trying to balance that along with meeting business needs and limitations.

So when someone pops off about something and seems to take no notice of why this issue might be, or what effect changing it might have on others, it's not really very helpful at all.

thus complaints that offer no solutions or are selfish or blow something out of reasonable proportion are not going to be very welcomed by the community. while those that take the bigger picture into account, and especially do so with some respect are a lot more valuable ...and they might even be called constructive criticism.

Characterizing folks as 'fanboi's 'saying everything is ok' is useless labeling that doesn't do a thing to make a point.

Or...are you one who doesn't like alts? If so, then nevermind.

I'm not really big on alts, at least not investing time into them. I have two alts currently but I never really spend time on either of them, and I am only doing them for the story, more than anything else.

If I created an alt on another server, it would be same class, etc, and so it's like, why do that only to have it replaced my by current main when xfers happen.

The other problem is creating an alt on another server, then having legacy conflicts arise when xfers/merges do happen.

Complainers don't save a thing except maybe something in their own heads. Now, people who officially report a problem by providing detailed specifics about what happened, what they did leading up to it, XYZ map coordinates and what they tried to correct it themselves AND THEN LEAVING IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS will help a game. Anything else is idle discussion, grandstanding or lip service. Constantly beating someone over the head with a baseball bat to remind them they have a concussion fixes ... what exactly?
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

You think complainers didn't send out tons of tickets? Seriously? Don't be naive. Sure some whinners just came to whine but most of us actualy CARE about the game.

You realize this is why game loses active players so quickly? They finished storyline, nothing to do, packup and go. Also focusing on storyline isn't anything bad if there's something to do after. It's pretty bad idea to pay monthly fee for a singleplayer game

As long as Electronic Arts pulls the strings, BioWare and Lucas Arts are FORCED to do what they say. Sad but true. If they wish to repair the damage caused by EA, then the best way to do it is to leave Electronic Arts. Turn their back on them and do what they do best.. designing RPGs.
