3. The haters on this forum are the unsubbed who continue to play the game with their remaining gametime and whine about things that aren't in the game that they want and primarily that content is from "Wow".

(I think I should add, I played wow and swg because there weren't any alternatives I liked and swg was the only star wars mmo for a while)
1) maybe you should look at someones posting history before making foolish statements you made in #1

2) no you dont qualify, Talk to me when you hit 20+ years

3) Actually there is a good portion of currently subscribed players desperately wanting this game fixed before their accounts run out but every time they ask for a fix you and yours come along claiming this game is perfect and needs nothing!

Said it before and say it again, get rid of the unsubscriber haters and the fanbois who refuse to admit the OBVIOUS and something worthwhile could be discussed here
In regards to lessening F2P and Preferred restrictions
In GAMING, as in LIFE,
You get what you pay for
No game restriction is so dire that $15.00/month will not eliminate it

The only padding it will do is time-shift results by 30 days, for the subset of players who earned the reward.

OMG! Player counts increase after game developer adds new content!!! Adding new content is a new low for BioWare. Stop the presses!!!!

What press? All the links in the beginning of this article point to the same "analysis" completed by one person who claims to have been able to take server load statistics from torstatus.net to predict that subscriptions will drop to 1.25M one year from now (!).

tl;dr – internet game blogs nobody has ever heard off <> press

EA has bad PR and bad customer service, so bad articles are not all that surprising. I think making the game Origins Exclusive was also a big mistake.

Lets say for a second that even 15% of steams concurrent users who wanted to purchase the game but wont because they had to download a new download service and not only a new download service but EA download service. So lets say out of the 4.5 million concurrent users (users who actively log in) that’s 675000 people. If those 675 thousand people purchased the game, that is 40.5 million dollars in revenue, but lets also say steam takes 20% of that (that’s what stores like best buy take in their profit share), that’s 32.8 million dollars just from the game purchase. Subscriptions alone you’re losing 81 million dollars a year because you decided to alienate an entire player base.

So now EA your missing out on 121.5 million dollars in revenue based on player who just wont use your service.

You might counter on well who’s going to not buy a game just because it’s not on steam.

I’m one of those guys. this game really will be the only purchase I’ll ever make off origins. I bought ME 1 and 2 off steam, but I’ll never buy ME 3 off origins and I’m not alone either

My argument is, EA didn't make origins to be innovative, they simply did it out of a dollars and cents. However many players can agree that EA is greedy thus they suffer from bad PR. Bioware gets some blow back from this however much they try to distance themselves from the EA branding.

So as a by product TOR suffer's from a loss of customers, player-base (player base is good to solidify servers and keeping players playing) and a loss of Revenue. Associated bad PR is also a byproduct of the EA branding

QQ everywhere man...

Seriously, this game just came out. It can't contend with WoW, because it is already established. The problem is WoW killed MMOs. It created a standard through the years(and its expansions), and has spoiled the MMO community because of its advances. LFG crap, PVP stuff, and whatever else you all are QQing about were probably sacrificed on release for some for the legacy system and other original ideas SWTOR has in it or is trying to implement. Thats what patches and updates are for folks. We've KNOWN this since EQ and UO days.

It doesn't happen over night. It happens overtime. Relax. geez.

Wrong wrong wrong. Ability delay is fixed to the satisfaction of pretty much everybody...except for you apparently...and to compare this game to Warhammer Online...credibility lost.

Now you're just nitpicking. The new custom interface is awesome, there are a couple things to add (control over buff size is indeed one of them.) Addons are a personal thing, you want them, I don't. Worst thing in the world is relying on a playerbase to update addons on patch day.

Yeah you weren't implying anything at all there, it was silly for anyone to assume you were.

You could easily get up to to 16 years if they played Meridian 59 (first 3D mmo) or 15 years if you include Ultima Online. I will admit however that 20 years is excessive.

I suppose I would fall under 15 years. Oh those archaic times... and world PvP was great.
