Do You want cross server LFG tool?

Lot of people saying no, just...wow. I know lots are saying no because it kills the community, and I partially agree, I didn't want the tool in the game either. The game is gonna have its fair share of players with poor behavior and ninja'ing regardless of a LFG tool existing. I am all for a Server wide LFG to begin with to see if it helps, and a server merge is possible too.

Here are some facts though. LOTS of servers with low population, server merge can help. But here is the real kicker that people don't seem to get...assuming we already had a cross server LFG tool, at level 50 it would still take FOREVER to get a group. In WoW, which has a HUGE population, it took a dps toon anywhere from 12-30mins to get in a group...all depending on what time of day you would try to get in of course. SWTOR doesn't even touch their numbers in terms of players, so even at peak hours when lots of people are online, a cross server would still take a very long time. Yes, you can say that having friends/knowing people/being in a good guild would help, and I do agree. But there need to be players to get to know first, there are only so many players spread out through many servers.

In the end I say yes to cross server or at least a single server, because I would like to do FP's again at some point while leveling.

Blame yourselves for lack of getting groups. It's not the game company's fault for players being inept and not looking at the chat and see that people are actually using it. If you want a dead community bring on LFD and after that they may as well not create anymore open world stuff to do, just keep it all instanced and make this just a run of the mill online game.

Doesn't even matter anymore, by the time they implement it alot more players will be gone, and then the people who say "no" will have their precious "community"....

Oh, wait!

Cross server, without a doubt.
If you want to make friends over a virtual reality more than you want to play the actual game, you're doing something wrong. Why are you even playing games in the first place I have to ask.

No.

No point in it. Reroll, not like it's hard or a lot of work to get to 50.

The way a effective LFG tool works is you place yourself into a que for a grp run, select the role and wait for the system to make up the group. This may work ok on high pop servers, but logic will tell you it will fail to be successful on low pop ones. And it is not your fault. The fault is with the game lacking a good LFG feature.

You either don't run FPs or are with a group that does them when you want, either way you have no stake in the matter. Just another pointless nonsensical argument.
Like your posts arent silly. You go against everyone who is against (x-server)LFG.
I have been in a lot of guilds who did good before we had LFD. So its not needed.
Only thing you want is push a button over and over again.
If you dont have time to play a game, then dont play it.
And now you say in another reply "LFG is good for subs etc etc"
How about a silly argument.

Four months ago, yes, i wanted it, now i don't care as i'm basically done with the game. Why? Bw is taking way too long to implement really basic features such as this one, features with which a late 2011 title should have come with "out of the box".
