Nobody thinks it's a good idea to get to the CE Vendor and see "Oh, there's nothing I can really use here". That is what is happening. Some of the people bashing the OP don't even know what they're talking about. If you think we're looking for an advantage, you're wrong. We just want something we can USE. How about a companion customization for troopers or consulars? We were left out. If you think we paid double the game price only for the physical in-box collectibles, you're wrong. The CE vendor with unique social items was clearly advertised as one of the selling features. In fact the security-key vendor, which is freely available to anyone of course, has better items on it than the CE vendor. The Security Key vendor has a MOUNT, a 'singing' minipet, additional minipets, a full set of social gear, and more customization options than the CE vendor has. Seriously, why is the CE Vendor (which we paid extra for as an advertised selling point of the CE) have such crummy stuff compared to the Security Key Vendor, which is freely available to anyone? They should have at least changed it from "Collector's Edition" to "Valued Sucker's Edition".

The worst part is that it's obvious they never finished the CE vendor, and, in this build at least, left it half-way done on the basic amenities front. One faction is a bit more fleshed out then the other. The Imperials are still missing a ton of items that are supposed to be in there, like the sets of social gear that the devs kept mentioning, but they get like 7 Khem Val customization options for no discernable reason at all. And that's just for starters. Their social gear is also an accurate representation of what it's supposed to be, unlike the Repubulic armor. Imperial Trooper armor is taken straight from the actual NPC's. Contrast that with the Republic vendor, which only has one T-7 customization option, one Corso Riggs customization option, a generic set of social armor that doesn't match its name or the NPC's that are supposed to be wearing it, and the two or three shared items that both factions have. That's it, that's all they get. It's obviously incomplete. The question is, what is Bioware going to do about it?

Bioware sold as many ce as they could and when sales slowed down they openend the vip lounge and created a new vendor( I was in beta when they made this change there was nothing but ce up there before this) they did this to upsell the Dde. Then when Dde sales tapped out they yanked all the items except for thevehicle off the vip vendor and created a new "security key vendor" for another upsell. This is nothin more than corporate greed.

Yeah i think a lot of CE buyers thought thered be some mega powerful blaster at the vendor that could beat no other. Collectors edition gives you novelty/physical items , background info etc etc and thats how its been in several CE other MMO i bought in past. I didnt buy CE this time as i found i never really use (apart from ingame bits) the extra footage dvds etc.

No, we weren't wanting that. What we did expect, those of us that followed the game on the forums, was what was brought up, the unique social armor sets, and other things that they sold the game on. Those weren't delivered. Seriously people. We're not saying one thing and meaning another. You can't give "signals" over the internet. What is being posted is what is being meant. It's like people aren't even reading the topic before posting. :/

I expect the store to be incomplete. Also expected the store not to have "iwin" gear. As for me; I am happy that BW did not add "iwin" gear in CE store. My char wears light armor, so current gear does not effect me right now. But I want to see med/heav armor class gear. Not 100% sure, but I look to see CE store updated in the next patch (6pm 19 DEC) to have updated gear and few other items.

Otherwise this is just a new way of saying "its beta! It will be in for launch!" It didn't work out very well for the its beta crowd either.

The armor thingies are useless (unless I find a way to make heaps of money very fast), but since I play a Jedi Knight (there's a customization for the robot) and I like useless pets (there's one of them too in there) the store is fine for me at this moment!
