Hi all,

First off spnzx, I'm glad to hear that you got the DNA samples back.

I just wanted to let the rest of you know that we are aware that this bug can occur and want to advise that there is a way to avoid this from happening in the future.

When you go to purchase something from the event vendor I would suggest to split the stack and store the remaining DNA samples that are not needed in your Cargo hold. This will avoid the excess being consumed when you purchase an item.

I hope this helps.

Been over a day, and no response to my ticket, I saw this post after the problem occurred, but waited to post. I know I had at least enough for a pet and lvl 50 crystal, but really I didn't stare at my inventory before purchasing, I just know I had 16 left.

After buying the crystal which i think it 83 or 85 DNA. My only concern to the response time is possibly missing out on using the items before the event ends (assuming I get them back. My best guess was a minimum of 44 i lost but likely more.

I ran into this problem as well last night and it was really infuriating. Two of us had spent all day 'farming' DNA samples and then pooled them together and I made the run to Tatooine to buy us some crystals. I had 276 samples total, two stacks of 99 and another of 78. It was enough to buy 3 color crystals and a companion lockbox, which was what I planned to purchase before I made the trip. I bought the first two crystals and suddenly only had 16 samples left. It robbed me of just under 100 samples (I think 94 to be exact).

I'm glad to see they are attempting to return the lost samples to people. Given the amount of time it takes to accumulate them, I would be extremely upset if they weren't making an effort to restore what was lost. Sitting around the fleet all day getting infected and exploding isn't exactly what I'd prefer to be doing when I'm playing... it's pretty boring. Imagine the frustration when all that invested time is instantly nullified by a bug like this. It would definitely be enough to ruin this whole event for us and leave a pretty sour taste in our mouths.

Customer Service is indeed handling this for those of us hit by this bug. I just received a response from them indicating they had refunded my lost samples. An in-game mail had the 46 missing samples! Just need time to analyze each person's situation and verify the authenticity of the claim before they issue a refund. It took a one day to get mine refunded.

I can't read..they replaced it WITHOUT using one of my 3 per 6 month restores.
