It wasn't that. It was the fact that you're confusing the CE mount with magic-pony made out of the tears of noobs whose name I forget. At least that's the only mount you buy with real life cash and that scales by definition, that I can think of. Other than that I doubt there's other precedents of mounts that auto-scale with training you can buy with cash. And even that one was announced to scale when you could buy it. Bioware never said anything about mount scaling, so there is none. I don't understand why anyone would assume there to be scaling if they aren't somehow used to it somewhere else. I'm not and I got what I expected to get.

Actually I'm fairly sure all mounts in WoW now scale with the highest speed training you have.

By which I mean I know they do.

True. Sounds like to me he was expecting the way Rift did mounts. Where it scaled and the CE mount had no level restriction.

I had also ordered the CE, but then I played Beta and made the smart move of changing to SE

I almost got this edition then I really looked at the crap you got and thought....er....NOPE. I admit I was jealous of the speeder when i first started playing though, the 8k is hard to come by at that point.

Now....not so much.

No mounts scale. Why would you expect this one to be different?

You got what you payed for. Simple.

Did you think when you bought your first car, that after 4 years the car would "upgrade" to a faster one with no money being put into it?

You chose the Digital Deluxe Edition, you got the Digital Deluxe Edition. You are entitled to nothing more, nothing less.

The only one I was dissappointed with was the battle assisting droid thing. It was advertised more as a pet. I realise they are all just cosmetic items but that one did disappoint. The DDE/VIP vendor was a big let down but then the CE one was too. That was poorly thought out IMO.
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.

I think what you got for the extra $20 was listed: a bunch of fluff and a savings of 8k-ish creds on a speeder.

You had the option to look at it and say...hmm, I'd rather buy a few beers/stick of ram/pokemon cards/whatever you'd like better instead.

Here are the applicable generalizations and some handy solutions:

Sour grapes: spit them out and enjoy the game, or find something you are able to enjoy more.

Buyer's remorse: self-teachable moment. Be glad it's only $20. When I was younger and financially stupid, I leased a car...and spent the better part of two years saving up to recover from that setback.
Before you criticize someone harshly, try and walk a mile in their shoes. That way, if they go really postal, you're safely 5000 feet away and they have no shoes.
