Ok, so this patch happened at the perfect time. Right before D3 hits. Perfect for me cause my sub runs out that day. LML. Ty bio for the excuse to play another game. I'm sure a much better one at that.

Legacy - another HUGE credit sink. So once again the non-crafters have tons of creds to spend and the people who craft have to choose between crafting and legacy. Legacy is useless before you complete book 2, what a bunch of crap.

Class changes - blows chunks, what balance? A few of my characters are no longer playable unless I group and then they're carrying me.

Owned heheh what a laugh this guys are, if this is true I think they wanna close doors soon, this game will be the most epic fail in mmo history!

Patch 1.1 and 1.2 hehehe.. so sad!

I have to say I believe if you are going to fail make it so hard and so spectacular that people will not understand how you even managed it.

I approve of this patch today Bioware.

Don't fire whomever is responsible for this debacle. You should make an example of him as a deterrent to other miscreants. Put him on the Art team who design the Jedi Knight gear.

That'll teach 'em

I can keep going. All games have bugs. All MMO's have fubar'd patches. All of them. Not one single game has ever managed to make patching major content smoothly. Ever. In the history of all MMO's... which is only about 15 years of existence.

WoW patches that broke the game:
Moltan Core (vanilla)
Blackwing Lair(vanilla)
The bug place in silithus (lawl I can't remember what it's callllled - vanilla)
Black Temple (BC)
Isle of Quel'Danas (BC)
Ulduar (Wrath)
ToC(Wrath)
Icecrown Citadel(Wrath)

Again, I could keep going.

The nature of MMO's and the way content patches work - there are bound to be unexpected bugs when moved to live content. Testing is irreverent, because while it may work on a test server, once live there are any number of conflicts that may pop up that are unable to be predicted or tested.



Now breath - it's not the end of the world. Seriously. If it's the end of your world that you can't play while they fix stuff that broke then I suggest you re-evaluate your priorities.
