Also, we should go outside. But my friends in real life are nowhere near as fun to be around as this thread.

Wondered why u had to download 100 mbs for 2 small changes? They rolled back the servers, causing some of the changes from 1.2 to disappear

BW broke game with small patch.
trolls saw opportunity to troll good.
people flamed some.
others said not to flame.
BW said they were fixing it.
thread degraded into random nonsense in true internet form.

LOL what is the big deal? they implemented a huge patch and it has bugs, happens in every single mmo there is. Most of you people whinning must be new to mmos.

And p.s im not a bioware fanboy, i think they are clueless about mmo's and were idiots to try to cram 4 or 5 patches into one, and ill admit taking your servers down for 11 hours in the middle of the day is pretty funny but im guessing they will be up much much sooner than their estimate.

Yeah this isn't new to the MMO genre it's true, problems have happened with all of thier major updates blah, blah understood, I get that, and I agree.

But what would be great is when you fire these jackholes (better to do it now) that keep messing up the game... fire them in your office while running a live-feed webcast of it. The whole MMO industry would know that Gomer Pyle shouldn't be on thier team and should instead be flipping burgers.

Sorry I apologize to the burger flippers, that was wrong of me.

I always felt bad for Sgt. Carter.

Legacy - another HUGE credit sink. So once again the non-crafters have tons of creds to spend and the people who craft have to choose between crafting and legacy. Legacy is useless before you complete book 2, what a bunch of crap.

Class changes - blows chunks, what balance? A few of my characters are no longer playable unless I group and then they're carrying me.
I don't want to be like negative and unsupportive, but I agree with a lot above said. Some class mechanics are majorly dysfunctional now due to time outs decisions, especially operatives. The spec trees were already problematic (major design flaws) before, e.g. Operative Lethality tree needing to melee for tactical advantage ranged effects, and carnage is still not viable. And then there are major bugs in operations that have yet to be recognized (or ETA on the fixes).

I suspected there might be problems with SDLC and operations, but not this bad for these things to happen. BioWare (and/or EA) might want to consider integrating SEI's CMM (Capability Maturity Model) and ITIL, as well as other industry technologies in business process managment and SQM (software quality management), and also consider domains of interaction design and business analysts (use cases).
