Operations is wear you really want to hear the sounds too because of the bosses giving you queues they are about to do something you need to avoid.

But restarting my client every 15-20 minutes so I can hear sounds for 15 minutes until it bugs again during a operation is just not worth it.

Not fixing the sound, or even adding it to the "Known Issues" thread, in a game hyped as a 'fully-voiced MMO', seems like a big fail, and they will see the consequences of this next week.
I had no interest in getting D3 because it really seemed too much like D2 with updated graphics. But now its looking like an option. I already bought Tera Online but that game was kinda boring for me. I'm pretty burned out on the whole Fantasy MMO genre at the moment. (Guess thats a good thing for BW as is kept me playing SWTOR) GW2 I planned to buy anyway as its free to play other than buying the game so I was going to play it along with SWTOR but ya they need to get on the ball with their QA team and stop pushing out broken patches. I mean whats the point in patching stuff if you break more stuff in the process.

The sad thing is many of us reported this bug in the 1.2 Beta test, they fixed it so it doesn't happen as much but never completely removed it.

I have figured out what causes my sound to start degrading when I play. I'm Republic, and in PvP, whenever a sorceror does the ability "crushing darkness," you get that muffled pulse sound that goes with it. If that's in my vicinity, and my toon can hear it, my sound starts sounding like that from then on out. Gradually, more and more sounds do not play including voiceovers until my game sounds like I'm constantly in a state of "crushing darkness."

BioWare, maybe look there?

Patient my arse.

Your game is/was hyped on being fully voiced. Get this fixed.

Shame on you LucasArts, you canned SWG for this. SWG was a buggy mess, this is worse, and at least SWG had soul.

I'm sitting on a cancelled sub with the 30-day free about to kick in, that's your timeframe. This fixed and a 1.3 release date (pre-June) are the only acceptable outcomes. Bioware have bitten off more than they can chew by the looks of things, turns out the prodigal sons don't have the 10-yo skillset required for running a ripped-off, copy of an MMO.

Since you guys seem to find this problem so elusive that you can't even duplicate it on your end (while EVERYONE else has the issue), lemme offer you a walkthrough on how to get this to happen, EVERY TIME, without fail:
1 - start ops group (8 people)
2- enter operation (new one because it seems quickest)
3 - fight the 1st set of twin bosses
4 - done - your sound is now hosed

That's it! No DX logs, no other random requests from you...this is EXACTLY how it goes out EVERY NIGHT (group activity) since 1.2. EVERY NIGHT!!!!
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

Greetings TUXs,

Thank you for your report. I can understand the frustration you must be feeling with this issue. I can confirm that I myself have completed the "Explosive Conflict" last night and was not able to reproduce the problem.

The information you have provided would be useful along with the information we have requested to investigate why it's happening on some systems. I would ask that you please submit this via the method requested above.

Thank You.

I think your either lying or didn't run the test, I don't know anyone (ANYONE) that does not have this issue! Getting people to run tests that your group should already being doing sounds like a way to delay time because you have no idea on how to fix it. Your all just buying time... 24% drop in subs hmm, I believe that will rise alot quicker if game breaking bugs don't get fix.
