Sound issue with 1.2

Another week, another downtime, anothet patch and nothing about sound in patch notes. How long BioWare? HOW LONG?!

your free 30 days is now up since 1.2 patch date bioware. now how many free days are you giving me while you sit asking dumb troubleshooting questions and pretending that you dont have a static looping sound ruining this game? calling customer service as soon as i get out of work and putting a full complaint in and demanding everyday from now on is free until you fix this issue.

So thats your plan to stop me from getting free time? Making up fake "known issues" to try and keep me happy? Ok genius. If this is true how come the looping engine sound that plays over and over at the SERVER SELECTION screen since 1.2(another sound bug you fail to fix 4 weeks later) ALSO turns to pure static. Did I charge my lightsaber at the server selection screen making it stack???? Please....get real. Just add the free days to my account now.

working prior to 1.2, broken after 1.2. only change on client? swtor

So they still haven't fixed this and instead deleted everybody's matrix cube..

Still a free month but I'll seriously reconsider canceling if this isn't fixed in a couple of weeks. There are tons of F2P games out there with no critical bugs like this.

That wasn't even the biggest part of the sound problem. The real problem is that 75% of the sounds stop playing in Ops and Flashpoints even heroics randomly and don't come back until you restart the client. I don't play on the Empire side and i have these issues along with many in this thread. But they haven't even put that on the list of known issues yet and its been there since 1.2.0 LOL

Where was that posted? That's bunk. I'm a Pub...my sound goes out on my SHIP.

Its in the known issues thread under the General section. But again that only addresses that one sound issue, not the overall sounds not working that we all are having in this thread. I think they messed with sound to try and fix some of the lag issues with Warzones and so on. Instead they once again broke it instead of fixing like they seem to do a lot.

Honestly, a rollback to 1.1.5 would do wonders for this game at this point. THIS is game breaking for me. THIS is major! THIS prevents me from hearing bosses during fights and prevents me from leveling my alt because the only thing I enjoyed was the flipping story...which sucks to read. THIS bug makes their marketing this as a fully voiced game, bull **edit**! THIS bug makes Bioware look sloppy.

Normally if I'm playing solo this hardly ever happens. I can remember it happening only 2x while solo. Basically the bigger the group your are in the faster it happens, so Operations you get the bug within the first 30 min of going into the Op if not sooner. Operations is wear you really want to hear the sounds too because of the bosses giving you queues they are about to do something you need to avoid.

But restarting my client every 15-20 minutes so I can hear sounds for 15 minutes until it bugs again during a operation is just not worth it.
