I to am having sound issues with the game, since 1.2 there is a lot of the cut scenes now missing audio, so its like watching a mime. And for a game that is all voice over and not hearing the voices, well makes it quite pointless when trying to hear the story, the mission.

I do hope this sound issue get resolved shortly, also the noises on the space stations and the noises of the jets and other things often seem to be stuck looping and its really off putting.

Another sound issue is that i have unlocked the bountyhunter emote for my other chars from Legacy so when type /bountyhunter you get th animation that is very short but yet the sound still continues long after the animation has finshed !

1.2 has indeed brought its share of issues and the sound one is rather annoying and needs addressed quickly please.

same here. General lacking of sounds with that electric crackling sound almost all the time.
Please can a dev post on what is being done as it really is frustrating and I can imagine how bad it must be for people trying to do lcass quests etc.

With the sound issue bug your correct, its caused by joining a match pvp and if you try to do questing on any character after that it will do the mime bug, the only way to correct it is to log out, and NOT do any pvp matches while questing.

I have had problems with sound before which now appears compounded I have put it down to the Asus Xonar sounds cards which seem problematic with games.....I was using 192Khz sample rate I will try various settings and report back...
Cry, 'Havoc!' and let slip the dogs of war.

This needs a emergency fix!! You cannot have servers up and running while so many cannot play.

Just adding my name to the list with this issue.

Date Observed: 14th & 15th April 2012
Server: Sulis Shipyards
Character: Observed on one Republic and one Empire character

Observation: Audio dropping in and out seemingly at random, particularly noticable in cut scenes, also noticed no speeder taxi ambient noise when using taxi's. Seems to get progressively worse the longer you are logged in.
Work around attempt: Adjusted in game and system volume levels - run repair of installation from launcher, problem still persists.

Comments: Does not seem to be related to war zones as indicated by others as I did not queue or enter a warzone for the empire character. Issue was not observed prior to patching to version 1.2
