Read paragraph 3 then go find that "cancel subscription" button like me. We'll see if keeping people subscribed is a "priority".

It's getting ridiculous on my server Tassaa Bareesh. Last night between 70 and 90 people online on republic side.

Bioware is this your definition of an "MMO"?

Yesterday another 2 of our guild members cancelled subscription because playing on a server where at peak we have 70-90 player on fleet and you play WZ with same people all the time. I am sure they are going to do something with this problem soon... server merge seems to be the best option.

Wow, and that was 2 days ago... but they're talking merge, maybe transfers will come soon. Regardless, I'm with ya, just DL'd GW2 beta for this weekends open beta.

i will just wait till my 30day free sub ends if they dont do a merge/transfer and cross realm pvp i ll just quit the game.
This is really killing the game for me even im in a very top end guild everyone in my guild feels the same.

We are playing as republic in a semi-dead server, in peak hours if i solo queu there is only 1 wz running if we queu as guild premade then we can get a 2nd rep wz. I am not even talking about other hours to play, like reset time or around 3-4 gmt if i solo queu i end up in a wz with 4 ppl while a full team of imps slaughtering us, oh and around morning proly there ll be 4-5 rep in fleet while 2-3 is from our guild, i cant reroll to another server as im here with my guild plus 5 lvl50 characters!!
Everyone is rerolling to high pop servers(cant blamethem as they re doing the right thing) and not giving chance to servers like us and u failied hard letting high pop server more in demand while killing our servers and rotting to die
Do the server merge or transfers ASAP its not a bad rep for company just the opposite this way ure not giving c**p to community and letting them quit makes very bad reputation and increasing the haters.
i want to see over 100 ppl in fleet once !
see 2-3 lvl50 wzs running @ rep side
its not an MMO for me its just a local game for me where i just do raids with my guild, make premade to do pvp while there is no chance of solo playing out of peak hours, thats what killing the game as casual players quiting one by one because of your fail agenda letting us rot here.

Actually.. paragraph 3 gave me a lot of faith in how they handle it. They see the problem is people don't have enough to do, hence the concurrent play dropping and therefore creating lower server populations.
So, instead of solving it with a quickly done band-aid, which server mergers are, they first want to try and solve it by giving people reasons to log into the game and stay logged in longer. Hence, solving the problem at it's source instead of merely solving the reactions to the existing problems.

How you can see that view as negative really goes beyond me.. It is really the kind of moment that makes me think if I am either too dumb or to understand your, or too smart to see beyond not getting what I want directly. For the sake of staying civil, I will not state which I believe is the case.

I agree server Transfers or Server Merges need to happen ASAP. Server populations are doprring way to fast. There are not enough players and the server I am on Terentatek, and it is extremely IMP heavy. I am lucky to see 20 ppl on the republic fleet, and the ques can be 45 to an hour + wait at times.

BIOWARE please give everyone a time frame on Transfers or Merges for the US so maybe people wont keep quiting.

Wow... while I understand your point of view, I understand the others as well. People who can't see multiple points of view I feel sorry for and are typically the sheeple who do things like tie themselves to one political party.

So let me try and lay it out here to help you see more than just the side you want to.
http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/04/23/bi...g-in-to-swtor/
In paragraph 3, TWO DAYS AGO, Bioware stated:
"mergers are on the cards, but not a priority."

This is concerning considering it's a HUGE priority to many here posting. However, he has a counter which explains why it's a low priority because he's giving preference to building up the population as stated here:
"According to Erickson, they’re doing “anything and everything” to bring that concurrent users number up. “Nothing is off the table when it comes to making sure our communities are strong and active on each server.”"

HOWEVER, they've given a free month to bring people back and had free weekends to anyone who wants to play and the servers on those free weekends are still dead. Now given that info, common sense would tell you to simply "bring concurrent users up" isn't such an easy task and they're failing even after extreme measures of FREE PLAY right after a content update.

So basically people feel Bioware is out of touch after those statements. People aren't going to just sit around months waiting for Bioware to build concurrent users lol. There are dead servers and they show no signs of changing, therefor mergers or transfers SHOULD be a priority.

There, now you have the other side of it. I understand both and hope you do as well

On a side note, Bioware had some very recent layoffs they don't want public. They had the people sign NDAs even. I know because I'm in Austin and these people are interviewing for other local companies. I'm not saying it's because SWTOR is failing, or if it's completely unrelated involving other games... but it's not a good sign IMO.

You guys really shouldn't let other people judge whether or not you like a video game.

You don't just quit because you think your server's dead. Or maybe you do and that's what's wrong with the gaming community as a whole.

Canceled my sub last night when for 2 nights in a row I couldn't even find 2 dps to fill a HM group.
