You're waffling.
Way too nitpicky, which is in line with the cross-server camp.

In the lack of extensive research, the only way to prove that cross-server LFD has a harmful effect on the community is based on the experience of other people.

I'd say the population is closer to 50% who want cross server and more and more people want it every day. I know many people who hated the idea months ago and are now in favour cause of how god awful it is forming groups.

Oh wow look at that. That is how low you are gonna get? Their opinions are invalid because of their weight?

I believe this is my cue to exit the thread. I have been arguing with people who would rather attack other people's appearances to win an argument, than to provide well-reasoned arguments.

I'm happy to say the devs have a lot of sense to see the dangers of cross-server dungeon finder, especially Gabe, who clearly has a bad experience with AFK people. I look forward to the useful, and rightfully single-server, dungeon finder in 1.3.

The only evidence there is that SWTOR increases subcription sales across the board, Bioware will eventually add one cause they don't want to lose money on low population servers. It's just a matter of time. Love your cheap one-liners though.

A cross realm LFG and LFR isn't going to kill the community because you can't kill what doesn't exist. This game has no community. Just a large mob of unfocused individuals.
Long time player of SWG from cradle to grave. First Kettemoor, then Starsider.

We had this discussion back in TBC in WoW, people like you tried to stop good people from enjoying the game. We beat you in WoW, beat you in Rift and we will beat you again here. You're not wanted.

No, you made the false premise that those people represented the MMORPG community cause you desperately need something tangible to hold as fact. I demonstrated that those people in fact no not look like the average gamer so your premise is invalid and so is your conclusion. Sorry.

So you're argument = ad hominen attacks?

30+ doesen't represent the gaming community?

At two months Greg Zeschuk stated that the average swtor player plays 4-6 hour sessions.

So yeah, those are solid arguments bro.

Yeah, most guilds I run into pale in comparison to what I see in WoW. Having 8 man operations and only queueing as 4 for warzones has really hurt the sense of purpose of forming a team.

You're the one that was using forum complaints as evidence. Not I.

I love it when people quote things that they can't demonstrate. There is no way possible that people can have 4-6h hour sessions on average. People barely have 4 hours+ during the weekdays to themselves before they have to to bed so that information is false. I work in Market Research so they are spinning the numbers, I don't trust people who lie.

No, late 30's+ is not 80% of the gaming community. I did not see a fair representation of the gaming community. All I see was a bunch of people who make questionable life decisions dictate policies that don't benefit the community at large.
