The Most Annoying Thing

In my opinion, is that it doesn't tell you what recipes you already know, and you can't possibly have both the GTN and your 'synthweaving' or whatever else open at the same time because if you open them before hand, GTN and Inventory close your skill list- and if you try to open it after, the crew skill list closes the GTN.


Is BW trolling me?

There is a way to keep them both open at the same time:

1. Open your crew skill window (default "n").
2. Drag the icon of your craft skill to an open slot.
3. Open the GTN.
4. Close your inventory that opens automatically with the GTN.
5. Press the button for your craft skill that you just made.

I agree it's annoying, but at least there IS a workaround.

This works? Bah! I have all of my schematics written out in lists that I have to update using primitive tools known as "pen and paper"... it's like the dark ages. Thanks for the workaround

You can also open crew skills, then open the skill you want to see recipes for, then close the crew skill window (but not the recipe window), then open GTN. That works for me~

When you open the GTN it also opens your inventory and seeing as you can only have 2 windows open at once (thanks Bioware, this is the stupidest UI I have ever come across) it closes your recipe window, hence the workaround.

This, and the fact that all HM+ Ops give out tokens for the gear but the game does not popup with a comparison of the gear you have in that slot. Meaning if you have a few characters (or just are not sure exactly which pieces you still need) you have to open char window to see if you already have that item or not.

Nevermind the fact that main / offhand weapons don't even tell you if they are Rakata or Columi.

In 1.2 it'll tell you if you already know the schematic.
