Sadly the only weapon to get a response so far is to cancel our subscription, and fill in the survey.
Please read it again.

As you know, the first stage of the system will be a one-off, optional transfer for those who are based in the regions defined in our FAQ. At some point after that, we'll bring a more fully-featured character transfer system online for all to use.

James Ohlen's response to the character transfer question from PAX East:
"That is one of our #1 priorities right now. I walk into our programmer’s office and ask them everyday if we can get that feature out faster. So yes, it is coming soon. We need to make sure when you xfer over that it comes with everything like legacy, guild and all that stuff. It is not as easy as it might seem."

I've grown to be content with my small server of 3 people. OK I can't trade anything, or PvP much, but I sense a community may be on the horizon. Small servers tend to generate familiarity amongst the virtual public, making for a priceless asset of experience.

Well, unless Bio merges servers so that they actually have active populations SWTOR may just fold a lot sooner than "years to come". People aint going to stick around in a MMO where most of the servers are dead.

Kinrath Spider hit all new lows this weekend. Bioware needs to do something about this asap.

I love ppl that don't read any previous posts, they just throw down there opinion like theirs is the the one that'll make a difference. If you read up a few posts you would see that someone has posted quotes from the dev's pertaining to this subject. they are working on it and it is a priority to them and it will be implemented ASAP. Had you taken the time to read that as I had, then you would have already known that. Instead you took the time to write down you carbon copy opinion forcing me to point out the obvious to you.

On a side note, If your playing Imp side, are on a server with a low Population, are willing to re roll instead of waiting for transfer system to be put into place, Corellian Run has a great active and fairly large population. Republic side while not as populated is still a fair size and are pretty active.

If they have figured out how to do transfers, why limit it to AP? Why not do it for the many dead NA servers? Yesterday there were between one (me) and three people on Hoth on Naddist Rebels. This is Sunday, mid day. BW: if you can do the transfer for some servers that need it, do it for all of them. I dont want to see the server transfers for some and have to wait six months for you to analyze the transfers, deal with the bugs, work on other projects, come back to it, etc etc.

Character transfers will not be limited to Asia-Pacific. The word "all" means "everyone".

Come on guys, what are you still doing here? Reroll to Fatman already. There is nothing wrong with telling anywhere from 15 to 60% of your playerbase that they need to either wait 2-3 months for possible transfers/mergers or reroll in order to play the game with other people.
Meanwhile, in Tera general chat -

Read this. Again.

Do you understand that my point is not that they never will have a transfer system for "all' but that all will be "at some point"? The words "at some point" mean sometime after they do the AP transfers. Got it?
