It's horribly obvious when you have parsers now.

When you use Hammer Shot you see 7 hits from Hammer Shot... and two hits from Plasma Cell.

33% of our DoT damage from that doesn't even exist.

In my case that means I'm missing out on about 600 damage (factoring in crit rate and multiplier) every single time it fails to work. Basically, up to 124DPS is not there (spamming nothing but HS to get highest possible proc chance).

To make it even worse it's the FIRST tick that's missing.

So when you refresh this 6s burn before it finishes with a High Impact Bolt that first tick fails to happen all over again!

Just tested this on training dummy, definitely seems to be bugged.

I got one to proc with plasma cell active and then switched to armour piercing cell as I needed 30 sec combat time for parser to work. As you can see it ticked only twice, I believe it's supposed to be 3 ticks?

This really needs to be fixed. Would be nice if it came before 1.3 in a few months.

It is a horrible hit to our damage since it's up to 100dps missing.

Can't be fixed too soon

Yes, this needs to be addressed as soon as possible. It's a rather large hit to Assault DPS. I really want to run Assault but it's simply not worth the damage reduction from this bug right now to spec out of Gunnery.

I also really, really want a reliable way to proc the cell DoT like you get as a Vanguard but that's a discussion for another thread.

Fantastic! Now all we need is for the Weapon Calibrations trait to read as follows and I will be even happier.

Weapon Calibrations
2 point Trait
(1)Charged Bolt has a 20% chance and Full Auto has a 35% chance to trigger your Plasma Cell if active
(2)Charged Bolt has a 40% chance and Full Auto has a 70% chance to trigger your Plasma Cell if active
