Hello Tichondrus,

As you can see in lines 2-6 you are having Timeout for this request. Will you please perform a DNS flush.
  • First hold the windows key on your keyboard and press the R key.
  • When the run window appears type CMD into the box and press enter.
  • When the CMD window opens type ipconfig /flushdns.
Thank you.

Greetings Tichondrus,

We advise that you try a Winsock reset; you can do this by opening Command Prompt and running it as Administrator. To do this, please follow the steps below:
1. Click the start button and navigate to the command prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt)
2. Make sure that you right click on the command prompt application and choose "Run as Administrator"
3. Type in the following command and then press enter : Netsh winsock reset catalog
4. Type in the following command and then press enter : Netsh int ip reset
Please restart your computer to complete the reset process.

Greetings Tichondrus,

I would advise you to contact your ISP provider about this issue.

Please provide your tracert as proof of your issue.

Thank you.

I went through the connection help with no issues and repaired with the launcher utility. My connection to the Test Server is still very good, ranging from 45-60 ms, median about 50.

My connection to Fa'athra is still troublesome, 80-160 ms, median about 95.

I live in Indiana and only joined a West Coast-time server because of friends, but now they've left and I regret the latency. I will probably reroll on an East Coast-time server to see if the connection is better. I don't know though if all the servers are in one place with different time stamps, or if they're located in different cities.

Here's the tracert:

Well as we can see Kindajenin is of no help and just leads you in circles instead of realizing that the latest patch has caused issues with some players.

There is indeed an issue indicated. The time to the server isn't what's being looked at here. It's the time-outs. It really looks like there is either a configuration error on your router/modem or on the equipment at your ISP where you connect to them. Something is causing your outbound traffic to hang for a while before allowing it to continue on. Once the packets get by the stutter, they make it to the destination. Have you checked with your ISP?

They need to realize that the latency issue is most likely on their end, it is NOT Isp issues! my computer after the patch runs still super fast no latency issues, still cruises around the game like flying colors, however my son's computer on the other hand runs so slow *now* after this last patch that he can't even move....he had no issues before this patch, if it were Isp issues would I not be having some similar issues as he would?
