yeah, you need to be careful with that little prompt for loot. you can mess up things and upset people without being your intention...

though that little prompt could be delayed until you're out of combat. in more than one ocassion i got that in the middle of the screen while i was still fighting (for my life xD) and had to read its stats and click the right option. kind of annyoing.

Yea well there is that too, and people should try to avoid looting things that initiate the loot roll window while still in combat.

I am having a similar problem, I felt bad for my friend so I wanted to give him a new light saver in the game because it meant the world to him. The only way I could find out how to give it to him was to give it to him through the mail system. After buying the blade on my account I claimed it went to send I but uh-oh, the mother-***kin "Item is bound" message showed up to make me and my friends time worse. Other people suggest that there is a count down timer before it becomes unbound but there is non. I want a diffinitive answer, can u un-bind an item from your inventory, or did I waste my cartel coins on jack-diddly-**it

First, holy necro batman!

But 2nd, if you bought it from the cartel market (and did not make any changes to the item or equip it), there is a36 hour countdown before it is unbound. This is so people who really want something have to actually buy it from the cartel market and not from the gtn the same day it came out. If there is not a countdown at all, and you didnt modify it, then it's a bug and you shouldreport it to BW to try to get it fixed (but that usually takes a long time for them to respond).

What Lordturin wrote.

And if you perchance equipped it, then it is bound permanently. But yeah, if you bought from the CM and didn't equip it, you should have that 36 hr bind timer. After which, you can sell, mail, etc.

No, no, no, daylight savings time is still a couple months away. You need to get him a "dark saver"...
