Ill be very upset/surprised if this isnt an elaborate April Fool's joke. If this is the best that the art team can produce then i suggest that the BW team opens up a thread for us to post our own fanart. Itd be interesting to also see proposed improvements/additions from the DEV's as well as the community. From there the team can gauge what the community feels best to have in the game.

Come on everyone, no need to be overly harsh about the designs. I for one think it's commendable of Bioware to have hired an art department that is apparently blind and have no arms, and give them a chance to come up with their new armor for a multi-million dollar game. Kudos Bioware, helping the less fortunate have a chance.

just my take of what makes a star wars-y look. because everyone keeps mentioning it. always felt that the early star wars wardrobe borrowed heavily from ww2 gear.

while ships and architecture leaned towards art deco but streamlined and simplified.

please bioware, keep the armor smart and simple. no blings please. go back a century to early 20th century hugo boss, burberry, and mackintosh.

Lucas did draw a lot from ww2 you are correct. Stormtroopers = ss nazis etc. But really I dunno wut that are doing.... Except maybe try to put a bizzare fashion fantasy look into a beloved sci fi franchise.

In all honesty, bounty hunters look amazing in pvp gear with a pve helmet. Inquis pvp is great but idk why the helm is weird. War pvp is okay. Agents get the shaft in everything, and all empire pve gear (Cept bh) looks fail, especially inquis assassin ( cow horns teh ****?).

Lastly, republic gets the worst. I can't tell which is pvp and which is pve, prolly cus it's so bad. Wars look like goofy samurai and troopers look like they have derpy mouths half the time. Smugglers end up looking like skinny gay zoros, and like on empire, sages/shadows r decent.

I won't lie, as much as I like this game and most of what it has to offer, those are some of the absolute ugliest pieces of gear I have ever seen. I refuse to wear most of what is displayed (specifically empire side), as someone else had pointed out before, why can't they just deliver us something more iconic like the awesome outfit designs of the Sith Lords in KOTOR or the Jedi's cloak with a hood up. Sometimes simple is better, I refuse to wear pikachu ears on my juggernaut (PVE armor). Is it really that hard to design something and go, hey that looks cool, I think it should be in game.

Am i the only one who thinks BW really screwed them self over by having a main class split up into 2 advanced classes (which really is just a class it self)

Look at the Inquisitor pvp set, that right there is a sorceres look and does not fit at all the assasin way lol.

In wow: Im a holy paladin "Ahh thats cool m8"

In swtor: Im a Sith Inquisitor sorcerer corruption imperial "ahh errr oh you mean like the sage??"

This is abysmal, the art team needs to be fired. I cannot believe that this is acceptable work. I am so glad I left this game.
