My guild got assigned to a server why don't you rerollers come down here and convince the other 20 people in my guild to reroll on another server,I'd have better luck herding cats.

5 minute wait time--------understandable.
45 minute wait time-------unreasonable.

Give it time - I suspect on the 20th the server queue's will go down as the freeloaders currently clogging up the servers won't be able to log in anymore.

for now -the only option is to re-roll. Who knows if server transfers even work as we never had a chance to test that feature in beta.

I haven't had huge queuing problems on my server, but if I did, I would roll another class on a low-pop server rather than start over. For one, I plan on trying out other classes (and maybe alignments) anyways. So no big deal if I do that now rather than later.

of course they let transfer our characters to other servers or we would not go to the new server.

im sure they will eventually alow some transfer off hi population servers. in about 2-3 months when the populations even out for the most part. i don't see them doing it before the first monthly subs come due in feb

Id support the idea of one free transfer for your account, it would work both as a great move by CS and look good for Bioware aswell as providing the player with their desired server environment.
However I would wait until things settle rather then do it right away

How about an ongoing update about what you'll be doing?

The current queues are a direct result of BIOWARE over filling the servers - so badly, that we have to wait 2+ hours before the game is even released!!!

I shudder to think of what the queues will be like next week.
All warfare is based on deception. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected. If his forces are united, separate them. If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near. A leader leads by example not by force.

Unfortunately has managed to create the character on Legion of Lettow. At first I enjoyed the game, then my friends got early access and we played on same server. On another day big wave of queue has come. Lucky me. Somehow has managed to enter without standing in queue. My friends weren't so lucky. They waited hours, got disconnected and stand in queue again. Finally they abandoned their chars of Legion of Lettow and create new on Chuundar.
I tried to do the same. Create another trooper on Chuundar... but I CAN'T play again through same quests so soon. I can't abandon my 26 lvl Vanguard. O_o I will pay if it is necessary.
