My Sith Warrior is 45. My Inquisitor is 25. I have a small handful of sub-level 5 alts/name holders.

Playing a few hours most weeknights, a bit more on weekends.

Both characters with real playtime are 400/400/400 in their tradeskills, though.

Edit: Been subscribed since just before Christmas.

I pre-ordered the game, but didn't play regularly (e.g. I don't play MMOs when on vacation). My main toon is in his 30s. I played "end game" in other MMOs and don't really feel like having to reach the level cap as quickly as possible.

If I wasn't having fun while leveling I'd already had canceled. No need to stick it out 'till some arbitrary level cap. Like chasing the ends of a rainbow for the legendary pot of gold.

My two highest are a 39 knight and a 38 inquisitor.

I'm in no rush to finish an particular one, and in fact, have one of each going somewhere on one of the many servers.

I am out for the story moreso than the quests [though if a planet starts to bore me, I move on, and will do the story on that planet w/ another character later ]

And I'm already past 30 on several characters.

As far as I am concerned that is most definitely not a "problem with this game". It's quite fun to have a selection of characters/styles to play at any given time. In fact, I've never really understood the whole "main" thing. My "main" is whomever I'm playing at the moment.
"Main" was important for raiding in some games. It took time to get the best equipment, so alts were kind of considered "gimps". A "main" continued to get stronger equipment through raiding. I have no clue on Wow, but in EQ if someone started looting raid gear on an "alt", it better be gear that would "rot" otherwise. The reason was for the raid guild to progress, everyone needed to be fairly optimal.

Yes, I know. Been playing since UO (and MUDs before that).

My position is that I don't find any fun in being "stuck" with just one character. I work toward making however many characters I have in a game the best they can be. I find having just one...limiting... and it cuts down on the "life" of a game for me.

So, I don't understand why people limit themselves. Obviously, to each their own!
