I'll laugh if they cast Jack Black for the Commercial.

ps...............Pandaren were an April Fools Joke originally.
I don't see how this is relevant. Kids that age might think that, so what? They won't start playing it because that age group is too young to understand anything of WoW. And it's certainly not Blizzard's intentions to go for an age group that young.

The reason Blizzard went for the pandarians is because it was a logical step to take, not because it would attract kids.

I feel like we're derailing from the topic at hand, haha

In my opinion Bioware is limiting the end game content, so that everyone doesn't just power level up to 50 and not really pay attention to the experience of the game itself. Over the next few months they will roll out more and more end game content. Both Op and PVP.
I used to play wow and I have mates (that still play) and when a new expansion came out they would just accept quests do them and run back. I would ask them do you even know why you're doing that? lol. It also annoyed them that I would actually read the quest to understand why I'm killing 30 guys over there :P

There is a lot more to come they just don't want to lay all their cards on the table at once.
If force choking Jawas is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Dude, I'm not arguing. But when kids see the commercials they are going to think Kung Fu Panda. It doesn't matter if it makes logical sense.
If I show my 7 year old nephew a picture of a pandaren monk, he will say "KUNG FU PANDA!!!!" . NOT, "hey uncle, is that brewmaster from the WC 3 lore?"

Pet battles also? C'mon. Even the new talent specs are dumbed down to where even a caveman can do it.

In ToR it's basically: You group up, you finish your quest/FP/OP, and you stop caring.

In WoW-Vanilla: You actually kept in touch with capable guys you encountered. By the end of Vanilla you basically knew half of your servers population (horde AND Alliance).
My prediction for ToR is: You'll maybe get to know your guild members, and no other faction players at all.
LOLLOLOOL what! I'm experiencing what you described for vanilla wow, how is what you said only limited to vanilla. I know most of the pvpers on my server who play as much as I do, not to mention the imps we fight. You sir, make me lol.
KFC, now with more Jesus!

On the other hand you have WoW, which lacks something completely unnecessary for an MMO(Voice Acting), and instead put more effort in balancing the time you take to complete the endgame.
getting full BM is easy? lolololol. You've got to be trolling dude. I've been playing since day one, am valor rank 67, and have 4 pieces. 4 freaking pieces despite doing my dailies and weeklies every. single. time. BM is perhaps the most difficult PVP gear up of any game i've ever played. last season in wow i had a full set of arena ranked gear in like 6 weeks, without the changes they are planning it would probably take me another 8 weeks to gear up at the pace i'm getting drops from my BM bags.

People donīt play the game anymore , they cheat they try real hard not to play the game.
You know standing around kill trading

Oh exploit is found for free valor , they exploit it right away ..
Donīt worry beter to get rid of those anyway , they want everything easy mode .
But they donīt dare to admit they cheated .. but they did

Anyway the faster they are done gearing , the faster they quit pvp , cause to them it is not about PVP , it is simply about epics ...

Sorry but not sure if you are alluding to this game being better or worse than WoW for PVP.

At least in WoW, IF you were good at PVP and IF you were wining ranked matches, you would have the best PVP gear, along with the ranking to show how you compared to others. Oh and you would obtain the best PVP gear before others who were not as highly ranked or who just ran around the random non-ranked BGs.

In SWTOR, it is all about people spending ridiculous amounts of time (time, not effort) running around WZs, kill trading and participating in exploits like the Ilum fiasco to get a random chance at a piece of gear.

For me, WoW wins this comparison by a mile. Random chance does not equal difficult nor show skill, rather it shows the lengths Bioware will take to artificially throttle gear progression while making sure everyone, even the afk-ers and botters, feels special.

Thats if you liked arena. Most people don't. Also, you need the proper comp to be competitive.

BG's are the same as here, you need to do grinding and spend a ridiculous amount of time.

It would be nice if they introduced an intro PVP set here for crafting or mods that are craftable with Expertise.
