Okay I can't get the skill tree calculator to work for me....but here is my template, and it works well for me.

Seer:
2 points immutable force,
3 points penetrating light
2 points wisdom
3 points for sight
2 points pain bearer
1 point rejuvinate
2 points conveyance
2 points valiance
2 points preservation
1 point mend wounds
2 points force shelter
1 point healing trance
2 points serenity
2 points clairvoyance

Telekinetics
0 points :P

Sage balance
3 points empowered throw
2 points will of jedi
2 points critical kinesis
2 points focused insight
1 point pinning resolve
3 points physchic barrier
1 point telekinetic balance

This template is very good. The pointer I would give you in specific is to heal your groupies until you run low on force(or if you are getting dps'd). The easiest way to heal is cast a bubble on the target that needs the heal, if you have time of course. If you are moving and he's not taking too much damage a rejuvinate works well. If he is taking a lot of damage use healing trance. If he is still taking a-lot of damage rejuvinate a couple of times and see if you can fit a deliverance in. If you think you can't go back to bubble, rejuvinate, healing trance, rejuvinate, rejuvinate, deliverance. Sometimes you have to cast a heal right away before you bubble so rejuvinate, or healing trance works well for that.

When you run out of force you need to switch to dps since the dps helps regen force. If you run completely out of force then noble sacrifice is appropriate only if it's an emergency. What I usually do when I attack a target is I put a weaken mind, and a mind crush on the target. If you don't have enough time to put mind crush on spam the hell out of telekinetic throw, alternating with project when you have it. If the target comes melee range force push works mixed with telekinetic throw. If you absolutely have to, force stun, or lift up the target and force run away.

LINE OF SIGHT!

If you follow this, you will find pvp kind of lolzy......

this is a really good point... at first I disagreed but now I agree that they shouldn't be able to do this.. It is unbalanced...

Shadows and assasins deal spike damage. Sages/sorcs don't......this is why shadows and assasins can't, but sorcs/sages can......

Spike damage? like multiple people hitting one target? Or did you mean burst damage?

Oh well.. a sorcerer can burst down a target as fast if not faster than an assassin can..

It's not burst damage, and assasins can do things to sorcs that can really screw with them. For one thing they have that long lasting stun that they do from stealth, plus hits that really hurt. It really just depends on the assasin, most are not good at all, but the good ones almost all of the time kill the sorc, or sage for that matter.

it is an issue and like it or not the nerf bat will swing when you least expect it. when it does the healing class will be broke not only in pvp but also in pve. Be prepaired ride your horse as hard as you can becuase it will be yanked out from under you soon enough.

I have a sage healer spec and i see the strength in its massive heals and Crowd control. it will not be fun to watch it get ruined but i am willing to sacrifice my playability for balance.

only if you stand there and do nothing to defend yourself. Yes a sorcer can burn you down fast but bounce them stun them interupt them or just pee on them and they will die. A sorcerer has 2 choices when 1 v 1 heal or dps. If they choose dps it will be steady but not deadly burst. if they choose to heal ha ha stun them and kill them where they stand. The biggest issue that players simply just forget is sages and socerers have to remain stationary to do anything. they cant jump or run or move while casting. yeah they have a few heals that can be done while moving but if you think the little HOT is gonna sustain them your not working very hard at killing them. You have to identify the healers fast and kill them fast if you want to win anything.

Your job is to be able to tell when they make that split second choice heal or fight. Once you get past that knowing your plan of attack and how your going to kill them is easy.

Personally my favorite is a rock to the head. right when you have all your damage buffs up and they are just about to die and you see them get that shield up just as your jumping into the air lifting that rock out of the ground and laughing cause you know you have everything set and its coming...you hear that last little scream and their shield collapses and the rock grinds them to the ground as a pool of blood oozes out of their mouth you know you have done your job.

ha ha sorry was this an RP thread.........
