Do we really need another one of these threads? We get it, some of you lack talent/skill/gear and can't kill the squishiest class in the game. This is really not our problem, l2p.

Yup. Everyone of these threads is based on exaggerated, uninformed, and flat-out false claims mixed with anecdotal stories and tied to tooltip descriptions of skills from torhead.

Except that the math makes several assumptions. 1) That all classes have the same endurance. They don't.

2.) That static barrier absorbs 3.5k on avg. It doesn't, 3.5k would be high end for someone in full champion gear. You can go beyond this amount by being biochem and/or a healer but it's no where close to normal when done. Basically this means you're assuming the sorc is BM, which means it's not comparable to other classes with 16k health and base mitigation.

3.) You only factor in base mitigation of other classes. FA/SB is our only defensive ability, once gone, the only option is running. Compared with other classes who have several forms of mitigation, this is just a flat out misrepresentation of facts.

4.) "Double Bubbling" requires you to either be lucky and have the debuff duration expire during a short fight, or prolong a fight long enough for you to reach another bubble. Generally that means you successfully escaped the idiot you were fighting and got to bubble again. Emphasis on idiot.

The fact that that there are such a high number of people that have rolled Sorc/Sage compared to other classes should tell you something.

Just as there used to a high number of Scoundrels/Operatives before the nerfs, you'll see a more balance number of Sorc/Sages once they balance them properly.

Except that they don't, some classes emphasize Endurance far more. In contrast some players skimp on it for more dps stats.

There's a reason that tank has more HP than you, and it's not because he's wearing pve gear.

Learn to counter before talking, sorcs do not need a nerf they do not need a buff. They are only strong if you let them, but as soon as they are getting focused they drop like a fly.

Personally I would make force speed assassin only and be done with it.

If sorcs want to escape, do it the only way snipers can. Use cc. Force speed outside of range and los to heal is far too easy.
Learn what you are talking about please, same go for the rest who thinks this. sorcs and sages are perfectly balanced only strong if you let them, killed in secs if wanted.
