I think it was in a public interview, not in the dev tracker.

Two sides to this argument. People that want combat logs, and people that don't want other people to have combat logs.

Trying to tell someone they cant have something simply because you dont want it in no way validates your argument.

I'm 100% certain Ragnarok in it's history never had any form of combat log when it was actually popular. It was also one of the most fun games I've ever played until constant fail patches some years ago started to ruin it (and it also started to show it's age). Maybe private servers had logs, but officials never ever did.

And don't tell me it's a small game, because 60 mil worldwide players at the peak of it's popularity isn't a small number by any kind of measure (not even wow's). Just because most of the players were from Japan and no-one in the west knows about it doesn't mean much to me.

And vice versa. It's a discussion, you've provided your points and I've provided mine. We both want to see the game either change or stay the same depending on our preferences, and both provided reasons why. You and I are at an impasse, and that's just the way it goes. If you refuse to believe anything I say, you have that right...no big deal.

That seems to follow the same logic as "hammers cause murders" ... sure people can give examples of that happening, but that doesn't really provide much of an argument against hammers...

-nods-

Specifics have been discussed earlier in this thread and others. I garner that the topic is old hat.

what do you mean and vice versa?

im arguing for a change that would affect me. Your arguing against a change that does not affect you. You're trying to prevent me from enjoying something for what reason exactly? Because people in WoW were mean to you?

Vice versa, you want it to change for your reasons, and I want it to stay the same for mine. When the game changes both will be effected, for reasons already discussed.

I do hope that after this is implemented, we can hope to see a 'Looking for Flashpoint' and 'Looking for Raid' random group finders in the near future.

That would be cool.

I was asking you to elaboraate, since earlier you in fact said playing with others would in fact solve some of it. I was asking you to elaborate on the "most" you responed to later.

But yes, I do believe that if you actually group with like minded players and actually play and enjoy the game...it will solve most of your problems.

However, I know that most players that play for "fun" as it is put, WANT to play at a certain level(reap the rewards) without actually PLAYING at that level. They want to play at a level that requires certain "things" while they jsut want to play however, whenever, whatever and still be included.
