I like the following:
Cooldown flash ON
GCD flash OFF
Cooldown 2
GCD 4
Show Text ON

I have noticed that the borders for Cooldown 2 doesn't match the GCD 2.

If you set it to Cooldown 2 and GCD 4 it looks like:

If you change it to Cooldown 2 from something else during the cooldown it correctly (in my opinion) gets the white border:

For comparison here is Cooldown 2 and GCD 2:

Edit: Some seem to get the border and some don't. It's pretty inconsistent.

I have no preference when it comes to the dark/light overlay, etc., I was just happy to see a numerical countdown implemented.

Show ready flash ON.
Show GCD ready flash OFF.
Show cooldown text OFF. (I would leave it on if it was only the last few seconds)

Cooldown style 4 (Dark with no overlay).
GCD style 4 (Dark with no overlay).

100x better than the abomination we just had.

Having a visual tied to every other spell that's locked out after using one ability is what's bugging my eyes.
I was waiting for someone to post who still doesnt like it.

I like the new GCD and I am still experimenting with the settings to see which ones I like best.

Question I have is why the hell does the cooldown text go grey when the tenths kick in? It just makes no sense for the text to become hard to see when it is close to the end...isn't this when it should be most obvious?

PS: I'm color blind so if it's not grey and instead brown or red it's another swtor fail for us color blind folk.
Yeah... I could see that being a problem for folks that are color blind.

It turns a red color when it reaches the tenths thing. They need customization for text color now on the count down, haha.

Hell, I mean really, they just need a full blown colorblind mode.

Is anyone else having their text counters frezze and not clear off? I've had one sitting at 32s and 2 others at different times for 30 min now.

Bugged UI.

Press 'ctrl + u' twice to reset the UI.

Haven't had a chance to mess around with it any yet.

But I assume if something is on both GCD and CD, but the GCD remaining is longer than the CD remaining, it recieves the GCD treatment and no cooldown text? (that would be an interesting option, if the cooldown is ending within a userspecified period of time compared to the GCD, give it the GCD treatment instead? So if your super good skill is coming off cooldown just a split second after GCD is over, it'll look like it's just on GCD.

(P.S. I think the whole light/dark thing is fairly irrelevant cosmetics. But overlay on GCD = heck no. Only reason I can sort of see for that would be if you had a lot of abilities that ignore GCD, and have a hard time remembering which is which... which would be pretty sad. On regular cooldowns though? I'd argue you need either the overlay *or* the countdown text. One or the other is needed for those super long cooldowns when there's just a sliver of the sweep bar remaining (if that).

I suspect I'll do no overlay/no overlay, countdown text on, and whichever of light/dark is least conspicuous with my buttons. (I'd actually probably prefer a simple sweep bar that mostly doesn't really lighten OR darkern... Dark looks like it's hiding the bright/dark of the icon behind it the least though) Should make it nice and obvious which ones will be available once GCD is over.

(probably have flash on cooldowns but not GCD... some of my more useful stuff has midlength cooldowns, so drawing the eye it won't be too bad.)
