Either we, the gaming public, support new MMOs and give them the chance to grow and improve, or we might as well all just go play WoW.
Nice straw man.

You know I wish we could have one, one thread where people don't make assumptions about the posters in the discussion and just debate the topic of the thread.

I guess they were right when they called this the Forum Game. Too many people worried about scoring points as opposed to learning something...

But..... you are still here. Over 2 months since launch, and you are ALL still here. As paying customers. They must be doing something right.
I am eating your canon, and pooping your immersion.

Many of us are doing what you're screaming at us to do; we're throwing money at them and hoping to see some changes and additions while enjoying what we can of the game.

Do you want "us" here or not?

We pay for the same developments you enjoy.

Not at all, and I'm not sure where you inferred anything like that from my post. Although, I would point out that your most loyal subscribers- the hardcore raiding and pvp demographics- expect and need that constant tail chase of gear progression. That's just part of MMOs.

That special something is too nebulous to be pinned down in a phrase. that's why I didn't say it, and why your small brain tried to extract it.

And what lesson is it you are trying to teach?

All I am hearing is "Have what WoW has or you fail."

People keep mentioning Rift, but fail to realize SWTOR is already doing better than Rift.

And I thank you for that. I am just sick of all the QQ about what this game supposedly needs, especially when the devs tell you that it is already in the works.

i was hoping for something new, something interesting, something i never seen before but what i got is wow clone with star wars theme. .. why the hack this advance society use swords and light saber which just behave like old school sword.

they are getting what they deserved, I'll never support absence of innovation or improvement.

I have never once argued in support of or against WoW in this thread. In fact, I wasn't even the first to bring it up. So maybe the lesson I'm trying to teach is how to properly comprehend what you read, and then take that and formulate a response that either supports, confirms, or denies an argument posted before without resorting to picking at posters instead of their posts.

So basically, you're making assumptions about what makes an MMO a success and why a game will fail if it doesn't tailor to it, but leaving it intentionally ambiguous so you don't have to actually say what it is when someone calls you out on it.

Well done, very long troll post with superb editing skills.
