True, there is no guild calendar yet, but if your guild is serious, it has a website with a forum anyways. Once again, yes this game does not have every feature of other MMOs, but I still have much more fun playing it over the others.
dude try skype with more than 16 man

Never realized dollar bills can detect errors in code or unforseen issues caused after launch.

Bot to mention how these dollar bills can expedite the process of finding a viable solution to these problems, because solutions are so easy to implement.
I am eating your canon, and pooping your immersion.

You are looking at something with rose colored glasses. Take them off. Not saying you aren't experiencing bugs, but I am saying you're making untrue comparisons.
I did play WoW and the content was runnable by the time I leveled to it. The first month when the only people who experienced these issues were people who power leveled to max as fast as possible I understood the issues. Considering 2 months is plenty of time for the casuals to rank to 50 considering how fast leveling is in this game these issues are less and less excusable. When a large chunk of the playerbase is constantly dealing with *everything* being broken and no customer service to address any of the problems then it's just not excusable.

No need, SWTOR only has 16 man raids as a max size.

What people are saying is that for a $300m game, with 6 years development, launched in late 2011, it is sadly lacking in even the basic features which some MMOs had years ago.

If you don't agree, and are willing to accept what you bought, then fine. Other's are not. And contrary to your opinion, their opinions are as valid as yours.
^^

I'm amazed at how low people's expectations have dropped.

Do people compare other consumer products that are launched now to products that were launched 7 years ago? I hope not, but I guess it's your money. The fact of the matter is you shop vs. what is in the marketplace today, not in terms of hypotheticals. I hope TOR enjoys the lull between major releases, because that is the sole reason they're still hanging onto my $. If GW2 flops and TOR shows they can fix their raid game and PvP mess, then they will hang onto it longer. If not, well, I guess they'll still have the old SWG/IP loving crowd.

WoW's launch redefined the market reach of the genre. Even they were unprepared for the deluge. BW has had 7yrs and ~$300M to prepare. They could have done much better.

Do you realize that likely thousands of forums posters have posted this exact same thing? I'm sure you do NOW even without reading any of the replies. While I pretty much agree with everything you said, I also wanna say that the search function in the forums works now...

I don't think this game has to worry about features to keep players - it has to worry about Mass Effect 3.

logic, solution without problem is nothing, problem without requirement is non-existent, so what was the requirement when this game first sketch in drawing board, bases on that sketch cost was known, so the problem lies some where in actual requirement that was initially targeted

So IOW you're making things up entirely because it suits you to do so.

eta:

Wow barely had any 'endgame' instances when it was released. MC was a subsequent patch in.

It's great that you leveled into things they fixed later. Super for you. How about you level into things they fix later here? It's not like you're forced to speedyfeet through leveling. it's something picked up from other games where you grind through the boring stuff to get to the less boring stuff.
