I'm thinking biochem. Maybe Cybertech but I'm really not sure. What will armor and armstechs be making that lvl 50 chars will want?

I think waiting until more content is released is wise. Bioware will likely want to add more cool/useful things for the professions that won't mess up the economy. And they will have the data to do that after everyone has been max level for a while.

But, if you want to have a specific look, I say choose a crafting prof for the orange recipes... other than that, Biochem/Cybertech are the only two that I see as useful. I hope BW adds more enticing items to the other profs, because they seem pretty lackluster at the moment.
You will have more luck embracing death than resisting it.

Anything that makes socket items i think will stil;l be viable. Anything that makes consumables...

So I think basically everything! I think Cybertech and Bio have the edge tho.

Also dont craft crits generate items with an extra slot? Those I imagine will be ticket items...
