once more.. am not complaining, i was telling that Op is right in some steps.
I never said nerf to ground.. i said nerf some utilities that as hybrid u cant have this and this .. I rather see generaly classes without any CC... and how it would be awesome..


And no.. am not crying that i cant beat sorc.. am Fine as Focus.
I am just trying to point at soem issue.

When Only sorc can have viable hybrid spec wich is far better then pure spec then ist not right. Hybrid should do all, but not better then pure spec... but atm its counter.

+ I as guardian cant mix viable hybrid spec..

And again. .this is not fault of u gamers am not QQ and am not telling its your fault. but slightly designers fault.

Funny how you take things out of context from my guild website. Just FYI I was being sarcastic. Niq(The guy that I was responding to) is a Healing Sorcerer and he said "nope not OP at all" and I decided to troll him a bit by saying healing sorcs do too much damage. Not sure if you noticed but I haven't called for a single nerf to healing sorcerers. Way to leave out the part where that website screenshot is of a thread about a 1m+ healing sorcerer and NOT a hybrid DPS. Sorcerers=/=All specs.

Also not sure if any of the Sorcerers posting here noticed but I'm not calling for massive posts. It's frustrating how 90% of you did not even read the entire original post and talk as if you did. It's why I stopped bothering with checking up on the forums regularly.

I agree with the OP about hybrid sorcerer being really nice. However, I do not find Madness/Lightening impossible to overcome. It's just more annoying with backlash.

The Corruption/Madness hybrid is what i find really OP. They get 3 form of heals, in that case they can just juggle which makes interrupting more-so useless on them.

That with decent sustained damage with massive utility brings no other Healing AC class can even become close to offer.

The class it self is not over-powered, since its their role to do sustained damage while sitting at range dpsing, but maintaining a way to kite off the melee classes. But adding the ability to do really nice self healing with all that utility. It needs to be toned down.

Guess what happens when a sorcerer is focused? Dead! We're not "tanky" lol. You can't tell me a class that dies in an instant when focused is OP. You act like killing a sorc is a challenge lol.

Kiting in this game is already bad, all melee have 15% more movement speed than casters, AND we don't keep our 180 vision while we strafe. Basically we have to sit on ramps because when melee get on us if we don't knock them off we're in trouble, instead of just being able to kite. The 180 vision is the biggest thing, we cannot move away from you and still do damage or slow you, unlike wow. sorcerer vs melee is painful for that reason. The whole having to stop turn and cast wouldn't be such a big deal if all melee didn't have the bonus movement speed ontop of the gap closers and slows they already have.

Our damage is also nothing to complain about. the damage of force lightning, chain lightning, shock, and crushing darkness are all reduced by armor even though we cannot benefit from accuracy or even armor penn debuffs. This is why sorcs like to kill other sorcs lol, we do more damage to each other. We also know what our class is capable of when people let us freecast, and just how squishy we really are. Our burst is CL (only usable with a wrath proc from FL) and DF (30 second CD). Other than those 2 abilities we just have high sustained damage, but again...not when you focus us.

Either way 31 point builds are terrible. Full lightning is just not an option in pvp. There'ss 0 mobility plus the burst is terrible anyway, thundering blast hits like wet paper. Full madness has no burst. We HAVE to use hybrid or we are useless in pvp (and PVE actually), end of story.

Complain all you want but honestly we are only "op" if your team lets us freecast. At the end of the day mmos are not pvp games anyway, fix pve first please.

The outcry for nerf is stronger for sorc/sage than the early days when scoundrel/operative were nerfed. Lets take a look at the aftermath though which shows operatives being completely gimped and useless now. They are the least played class. Even in pve serious raiders running hard/nightmare modes especially will not take an operative because they actually gimp the group.

Lets not make the same mistake twice and give in to the outcry for nerfing another class and making them useless. The destruction of the operative/scoundrel class post nerf should give us all pause before really asking another class to be nerfed into oblivion.

Every other class dies just as fast if you've got 3-5 people attacking them, aside from tanks, or a Marauder using Undying Rage

Seen tons of games where Sorc/Sage has done 300-500k damage, the damage is coming from somewhere.

I agree, but the healing and hybrid specs are powerful. The hybrid spec is TOO powerful. Every class has a few worthless trees/specs.

Complain all you want but honestly we are only "op" if your team lets us freecast. At the end of the day mmos are not pvp games anyway, fix pve first please.

All melee suck in PvE.... There's so many mechanics in HM and Ops that are anti-melee, but Melee classes don't do more damage to make up for it. Nor are there many heavy anti-ranged fights.

I am really sorry to say this game is a fail. Cant see it past April.
Past all the bugs and the balance issues , the short pve and pvp content cant c it moving forward
