The only thing wrong with Huttball is the ridiculous amount of knockbacks going around in this game.

0/0 matches are awesome. That means both teams are playing their *** off and it's going to come down to ball possession.

I LOVE 0/0 matches.

The primary reason that I hate Huttball is that it reminds me of Tor Anroc. I HATED Tor Anroc with a passion.

melee classes. mainly the warrior and the knight need to get a buff really as ranged dominate most warzones.
but hutt ball is the most fun of all the warzones.

hutt ball shouldnt be removed. in fact id like to see another warzone. lets add some more to the mix.

id like to see a space combat one where you fight on a ship thats engaged in combat. kinda like the Esseles/Black Talon.

Huttball is only bad if you're a non Force user (Forceball is actually a very informative description) playing against a team that really knows how to exploit the map. Looking at the complaints people have, it's pretty clear most people do not run have the misfortune of going up against specialized Huttball team. Even Premades are generally not teams specialized for Huttball, though they'll certainly give you trouble if they're good players.

A truly bad Huttball experience is when you run in the middle, see the other team get to the ball 1 second before you, pass the ball, and score 10 seconds later. This kind of experience will become more prevalent as people start rerolling characters for an optimized Huttball team, but for now is still relatively rare. If you're still worrying about KBs, you haven't seen a team that knows how to abuse this map.

Actually, I love Huttball on all my characters. It's the ONE wargame where you can't shut off your brain and simply pew-pew, where you actually have to know and use all your skills (and preferably those of the other classes), and where tactics and a high level of teamwork are essential.

So changing it or taking it out of the game? Please no.

I used to feel like my operative was a blitzing LB... now I think he's 2nd string punter or waterboy. Needless to say, I'm bringing up a Sorc who feels like the star QB.

Not sure if anyone quoted this already or not, I didn't read all 20+ pages. But this shows a basic lack of understanding of the game.

Controlling the middle is absolutely essential to winning a huttball match. That's exactly what a sent should be doing. That's what they are good at, tearing through the opposing team. No need to worry about being knocked off legdes etc, just kill anyone that comes to the middle and pick up the ball when it spawns then be ready to pass it to someone in better position.

It's also what a sniper/gunslinger should do. Position themselves above the middle in cover and bring the rain. They can also then be ready if the enemy gets the ball onto your cat walk and knock them back off.

There are three jobs in huttball: carry the ball, support the ball carrier, and control the field. Find your classes niche and your team stands a much better chance of winning.

Granted, nothing is fool proof. And with pugs you'll have to improvise.
