For example, despite the fact that I could probably lose a few pounds, I don't pay the gym a monthly fee, because I wouldn't go anyway. I also don't pay for channels on my home satellite that I don't watch, nor do I pay for movie/game rental services which I would get hardly any use out of.

See, we adults who follow a logical train of thought understand that it's a waste of money to pay for something we don't like. I like Bioware as a company, and I plan on buying future games from them, but Star Wars: The Old Republic is a game which has already gotten stale after 2 months of gameplay for me, and I refuse to continue giving them money out of my own pocket for a luxury item that doesn't actually entertain me.
Zero entertainment and one of the worst communities ive come across so far in an mmo.

Eh, I've seen worse. World of Warcraft's pvp community was pretty horrendous. Probably the worst I've seen in an online game though is League of Legends (yes I know it's a MOBA, not an MMO, but the point stands).

3) When I join a WZ and we have 3 level 10s in greens, you know its bad news. Now don't be hasty and say "but level 10s...etc". I started Queing at level 10 too - difference Is I already know how to guard turrets/doors pass the ball etc. People can learn by losing, I don't want to lose with you while you learn though.
when will ppl finally learn that this is NOT what makes u a good pvp player. in best case this makes u a good roleplayer. a good pvper is who kills ppl in 1v1, 1v2 or 1vX by playing his class very well and utilizing all his tools to maximum effectiveness. also a group of players who work well with each other to kill bigger numbers or other good groups are good pvp players. some1 who sits at a cannon the entire game and does literally nothing is NOT a good pvp player. get that in ur thick skulls gosh darnit. just cos bioware designed the game in a way so ppl who suck at actual pvp can feel good by "guarding" a cannon that never gets attacked anyways or throw a ball to each other, doesnt mean ur actually good at pvp. infact ur most likely the reason why the whole thing got designed like this in the first place.

it makes me sick to the stomach that all the warzones are based on the exact opposite of playerskill and ppl who follow that stupid design even think they are any good.

the devs will never stop coddling the premade cowardly type, funny how they say casuals get stuff free, is there anything more free and effortless than a premade beating up pugs nonstop ? Differences iver noticed in pugs vs premades:

A pug fights to the death when 4 are attacking him. A premade runs like a baby if he is losing one on one.
premade bads hop and hop lol, run around pillers doing no damage waiting for several of his premades to save him, premades hover near health boxes. etc etc etc...
Thats the problem with premades - effortless, cowardly gameplay.

Oh ya ill prlly get another smack on the wrist for saying people play coward like just like i got dinged for saying someone whining about the water nerf was a crybaby, but ya know what bioware...im gone anyways so coddle yer peeps more.

I think it's amusing that you decry good tactics as "cowardly" gameplay. It's probably obvious to a lot of people that you're the sort of player that loses WZ matches.

I am honestly curious if the OP, or Grayfield can imagine ANY unjustified reason to leave a Warzone, or can imagine a behavior that should be discouraged through player actions or developer programming or rules enforcement.

So far, both appear to believe that any and all actions by players are justified, and healthy for the game in general and warzones in specific.

It doesn't matter if we believe there to be an unjustified case or not. It's obvious by your wording that you don't actually want a discussion, but are rather looking for a way to poke holes in our opinions.

Perfect non-answer. It illustrates that you are incapable of recognizing the value of rules and limitations in games. Your mind can't even gel around the idea of such a thing.

News flash. Warzones already ARE fun when teams are filled with people who don't disconnect, but I don't expect you would know that since you and your faulty modem are in every Warzone you have ever entered, carefully scrutinizing the rosters, rankings, and map selection for the best possible moment to disconnect to amplify your team's chances of failure.

Some people will ruin any game without strict rules enforcement because they, like you, cannot bring yourself to remain within the simple lines they draw, and instead make a metagame out of ruining a game for everyone else. The game you play is called Schadenfreude, look it up.

It blows me away that you cannot comprehend how sociopathic the views and actions you represent are. They created locks, bars, and excommunication for people who refuse to play by the rules of good sportsmanship and civility. Bioware is going to bar you from re-entering, lock you out of Warzones, and perhaps excommunicate you from the game altogether if you keep it up, and the Warzones will be a better place fot it.

Of course you hate it. You will have to find someplace else to play your little griefer game.

Thank you for proving my assertion correct.

And before you latch onto my short reply and claim that it's because I can't rebut your claims, the real reason I'm not bothering to do so is because trying to refute strawman arguments and ad-hominem attacks only serves to derail the discussion.

If I am not mistaken, the discussion is about people who love leaving warzones with no penalty.

You have proudly claimed to be one of those people, their self-appointed lawyer, infact, and attempted to justify the multitude of reasons you personally leave warzones. You even admit one of those reasons is because you are placed in matches that others have already quit from, and somehow cannot connect the dots back to yourself.

I consider each of the excuses provided thus far to be selfish and I consider the actions of quitters damaging to the warzone community. I was hoping you could provide a reason to leave a warzone that I too would consider justifiable, but failed for fear of supporting a justification that could not stand up to scrutiny.

Here's a freebie: Real Life emergencies. The system should never be made so rigid that it cannot tolerate rare emergencies like fire, or epileptic seizure. I would consider "Not liking Alderaan" to be the polar opposite of this acceptable justification.

I consider quitters to be the #1 problem with Warzones. #2 being limited variety, #3 being premade imbalance.

I applauded Bioware's initiative to improve warzones, and eliminate rewards for quitters, and for those who persist, I applaud penalties.

If that is ad hominem or somehow detracting from the discussion, then I am guilty as charged. If it somehow encourages introspection then I hope there will be one less quitter out there to blindly ruin matches for the rest of us.
