Not that I've had many situations like this with lfg tools, seems I'm the luckiest person on the planet if this thread is anything to go by.
You still dont see the big picture

We play a game where gear progression is god, you rock the boat you dont get to complete the hamster wheel. You might place a high emphasis on right & wrong, but I payed $15 a month to gear my characters not become an advocate for the moral high ground because it doesnt work.

Not the luckiest perhaphs just someone who didnt run them as much as others. When I quite wow after 5 months into Cata I had run ZA & ZG over 500 times each over several characters and they werent released till the 3rd month, how about you?

You can't talk with them?

Your argument doesn't make sense, and the afkers are going up because we can't vote kick them.

There is literally no punishment atm something that should have been in from launch and something btw we have yet to hear an update on.

It is one of the many features missing from swtor and certainly not an argument against the lfg tool.
Sure i can talk to them, thats not my point at all, if they are good, perhaps I would put them on my friends list, and party with them again. Perhaps we could become a great team and form a guild.

Oh wait, they arent on my server.

Odds are I'll never group with this person again.

This is what folks mean by hurting community.

Its like a cod lobby game.

Err excuse me...

I have a job and a family but guess what, I have no problem putting a little effort in and have no probem getting groups either.

So yes, it is simply lazy.

If you cry baby WoW kids get BW to cave in to all your easy mode demands like Blizz have done then I will think about quitting. This game is easy enough as it is for casuals.

The problem I have is that you WoW whiners will not be happy until this game plays just like COD and BW seem happy to cave to every demand.

Dual Spec plus xsvr LFD WILL turn this game into the cesspit of a game that WoW has become since those features were implemented.

How long before you same people cry that specs should be removed all together just so you can have one toon thats uber at everything without even having to level?

Bad move BW imo.

Is NOT socializing. What everyone who threaten to leave if LFD tool makes it in to the game need to realize is that you are OUTNUMBERED by the people that will leave if this doesn't make it in to the game.

I hit 50 on my main and since it's been abandoned. The server is low in population and I have yet to run a single HM FP or OP. I have no patience to spam chat for hours.
It's far more socializing than a cross-server LFG tool because once you're automatically formed up that way, no one says a GD word to each other.

They need to stick a server-only LFG tool, at least for Flashpoints. Warzones doesn't matter because PvP is pointless mindless gameplay anyway.

No, you paid $15 a month to have an opportunity to gear your characters... and you do. It's not a right or a guarantee to have whatever you want in game.

And for the record, the gear progression thing is a shift in philosophy that appeared to come about mid-stream in late 2010/early 2011, and is clearly disconnected from the leveling game. It's like there are 2 separate games, worse than WoW ever was in this regard.

As opposed to now where after spamming...you don't say anything to each other bar explaining a pull.

There's a whole lot of delusion going on in the counter-arguments here.

And nice bias against pvp there, you're opinion on grouping and group play is valuable.

No, because it’s easy. If you give an easy option to the general pop, most will use it.

But it’s the bad connotations that come with this easy option that makes it game breaking for me. And the argument "don’t use it" is invalid. Obviously I will be forced to use it as the vast majority will be using it. Unless I want to be spamming LFG in gen for hours.

Solution: Same Server FP Finder.

Why does it have to be x-server? To save time at the detriment of the community and player rep?

Roll on my server and try to find a group for anything. I kid you not, it recently took me THREE DAYS to find a group for Maelstrom.

And I'm a healer.

It's bad enough when you see tanks and healers LFGing in General... but when you see something like this:

[Player1] LF Tank Athiss
[Player2] LFG Athiss
[Player3] LF2M Athiss
[Player1] LF Tank Athiss
[Player4] LF1M DPS Athiss

You really bang your head on your desk, even if you're not looking for Athiss. It just looks stupid. Especially when you do a /who and realize that nobody is flagged LFG.

Or, in my case, as a healer, I was on my third day trying to find a group for Maelstrom, was flagged LFG, and the only reason I finally got a group was that someone said "LF Healer for Maelstrom". Boy, it's a good thing I was flagged for it, eh? /joke.

And truthfully I hate it, by nature I am an anti social person hence why I play computer games. Sadly for me the solo experience in this game stops well short of where I would like it to go. Without gear progression there is no motivation to play, for me anyway.
