You're speaking for everyone again with no evidence to your side, all any of us need do is point to instance participation before and after cross server was brought in wow then rift.

If you seriously believe it's the same or less then we may as well be talking to a wall.

besides it's still completely optional no one will force you not to run with your guild or people from your server, what about all the people who agree with you? surely you'd be able to form groups.

Is NOT socializing. What everyone who threaten to leave if LFD tool makes it in to the game need to realize is that you are OUTNUMBERED by the people that will leave if this doesn't make it in to the game.

I hit 50 on my main and since it's been abandoned. The server is low in population and I have yet to run a single HM FP or OP. I have no patience to spam chat for hours.
No, thats not socializing, but grouping with the people on your server is, getting to know the new folks joining up. Getting a random tank from a random server you will never see again, turns this into a lobby game.

Watching the amount of akers in my warzone go up because people could care less what their in game reputation is, as they can just randomly queu for whatever they want.. wonderful.

Low population servers can be fixxed by combining them, but we cant have the bad PR pf server mergers now can we?

Cross server is not my idea of an MMO, if it was, i wouldn't have left WoW.

oh I get it. This game is only for teh hardcorez right?

There's a difference between getting something efficient out of your Limited free time and just flat out leave the game, no?

Nobody is hindering you playing with your guild, you know, socializing.

So you blame the lfg system and specifically vote kick functions for your sacrificing your credibility sorry but I don't abandon right and wrong or my views because internet people might be angry with me.

Not that I've had many situations like this with lfg tools, seems I'm the luckiest person on the planet if this thread is anything to go by.

So your saying people you group with cross server are somehow less human?

You can't talk with them?

Your argument doesn't make sense, and the afkers are going up because we can't vote kick them.

There is literally no punishment atm something that should have been in from launch and something btw we have yet to hear an update on.

It is one of the many features missing from swtor and certainly not an argument against the lfg tool.

I'm shocked at myself - but I'm actually starting to agree with you.

Ok, what about this - pairing up (or tripling or quadding up) servers for cross-LFD. That way, you'd at least have a chance of running with the same people over time.

That is, instead of a global lump of servers, if you queue, you're only queuing with people from the same two or three other servers every time.

Players here advocating same server RDF understand the importance of a players reputation within their own server. Many players here have played other MMO's where x server RDF was introduced and understand the detriment it brings to a community. Such as increased ninja activity & abuse just to name two. I've even been in guild vent with a girl who was a new player who was reduced to tears because of intolerant players and subsequently she didnt play for very long.

If you seriously believe that x server RDF wont have a negative impact on players then I might as well be talking to a brick wall.

It's a shame and a definite departure from their early philosophy.

It wont, doesn't and never has certainly no where near the catastrophic levels you're implying, the proofs in the pudding, and the many many people using the system quite happily atest to that, do you somehow believe that participation sky rocketed because what?

People hated it?

Even here in this thread you're outnumbered, you're a minority of a minority of a game.

Do you honestly believe multi-million sub games are obviously secretly despised by there players because a vocal minority on the forums says so?

I'm almost certain you do at that. I don't think we have anything further to say to each other.
