Ancient Pylons hardmode. FIX NOW.

Every time we do hard mode EV it bugs out, and we cannot click the keypads on ancient pylons. So we wipe it to start again, but the keypads are still unable to be clicked.

This is the second week in a row that this has happened on normal and hard mode, it has halted progression for our guild and we are getting to a point where we do not want to play the game anymore.

Fix it. Now. We're fed up.

the pylons only "bug" if you don't solve it the right way

you thought you can only click till you can loot? wrong, there is a mechanic behind.

Must be a pretty crappy server if you are the PREMIER guild on there. There must be a million threads about this already and people aren't holding back the solution anymore. The answer is everywhere if you would take a minute to search and find it. Or solve it yourself. Heck, there is even an app on the iPhone for it...really...

Tried this and it didn't work.

What worked for us was to let south always solve first all the way.

Fix this asap! What's the use of an operation if the op doesn't work. If it works on normal it should work on hard

Normal is meant to be easy so it doesn't require you to actually solve the puzzle. KP is similar. They want hard to require at least a small amount of thought. It isn't broken, just figure out the puzzle. Answer is all over the forums.

No it's broke. We have read that forum. Just did it 4 times and it didn't work

Just 1 shot it on HM again this week, do people not realize clicking the thing in HM puts you on a timer to not be able to use it? You need 2-3 people at the controls, not just 1 like normal mode.

Check my stream to see/hear what we possibly did differently as we did the same thing last week(1 shot HM pylons)

Pretty much convinced everyone is messing up the workarounds any number of ways. Tired of seeing so many people tell everyone how to do it with zero issues and no one can do the simplest of instructions. There's no way the workarounds only work for half the raiders on these boards. If it's failing for you, you are doing it wrong.

Whether you do South all 4 wheels or N, S, S, N I don't think it matters, the key times when the consoles would be unclickable are after you solve the 2nd and 3rd wheels which as you notice people are doing South on those in either workaround.

Besides that, the only other bug is when the final wheel requires only 1 spin to solve. The console will be clickable but when you activate it, the final spin will not move the wheel. If you see a 4th wheel that only requires 1 spin, exit area and reset the zone to get a new combo for the wheels.

Now...knowing all of this, split your raid half on north and half on south pylon. If it's Hard Mode you have to rotate people who click the consoles, because you get a debuff when you click it. We usually rotate 3 people per side (sometimes you only need 2 if you have to wait for the other side to go through more spins). Solve it the optimal way. South first works, and I'm betting N/S/S/N works as well since it's south on the key solves.

If you actually follow these directions, you should be solving the puzzle with only getting 1 gold mob at the most almost every time. It works. I'm sorry, I just don't believe it's somehow not working for half the people trying it when it seems like every group that has been able to execute the workaround properly for the last 4 or 5 weeks goes in and one shots it every time.
