Do you keep 2 sets of Gear?

One for PvE and one to switch to if your doing PvP? Also, does all gear in your inventory get damaged upon death? In which case should your other set of gear always be kept in the cargo bay?

Obviously I got 2 full gears.

Once you're well equipped you must have different gear, with the pvp one I reach 630 expertise (useless in flashpoints and operations) at the cost of 350 willpower compared to the full columi set I own.

So i basically always have a full epic set in my bag, and I switch it if I have to do pvp or pve.

And no, you won't damage any of your item if they are not equipped, so you don't have to keep them in your cargo bay.

Thanks for the reply. I have multiple endgame items for multiple slots now so i have been switching them out. Glad i don't have to keep them in my cargo bay tho.

I could even see having more than two if you like changing between specs.

I'm currently working on both healing and DPS sets. Eventually, depending on luck, I expect to at least have a few pieces that swap out for each between pvp and pve.

I miss playing FFXI when you would have macros to swap different pieces of gear based on which ability or weapon skill you were using. It added a huge amount of strategy and planning.

I don't do PVP, but I have a small stockpile of customizable gear in my cargo bay for cosmetic purposes.

Simlarly I have 4, 1 each for tanking and dps in PvP and PvE.

Only two are complete atm (tanking sets), the rest are scattered extra parts about 1/2 done.

Dang... I never even thought about gettin a DPS spec set for the possibility of DPSing... Maybe if I had gear I might try it sometime.
