I read your statement about rebalancing pvp gear George and I couldn't help but feel upset.

Here is another suggestion/ solution rather than nerfing end game pvp gear, just give the new 50s some BLUE pvp gear to buy!

I'm valor rank 68. have done nothing but play your warzones for the past month and half.

if you nerf end game PVP gear just to bring us down a few notches so that new level 50s wearin greens and blues can beat us then its just not right.

it's like you are punishing those who really put in the time & like to play that aspect of the game(pvp) to appease new level 50s and casual pvpers.

there will always be a gap between new 50s and old ones. As I'm sure you know, it's called Progression, naturally those who have gear will outmatch/outshine those with only leveling/questing loot.

Yes, among other things.

Gear should mean something. People can get geared in 2-3 weeks easily if they put the time in, and then compete for BM gear through guild premades. 1-49 is fun but gear doesnt matter so PLEASE dont turn 50s bracket into the same.
I agree with this. People need to improve, period, giving them what they want because they refuse to learn and get better is ridiculous.

I came into TOR with ZERO PvP experience, and I'm proud to say I've actually improved a fair bit. 'Bout to get to valor 60, after having played from early access, and I feel like this would be a huge slap into the face to people who worked hard getting there.

What you should do instead is make centurion bags easier to get. I very rarely see people running around in Centurion gear, because getting Champion gear is so damned easy.

As for crafting - cybertech is good, but only until people get PvP gear. I never ever get mod schematics from UWT, and never see them on the GTN. There's also very little documentation of what I can actually make, in terms of both armoring and mods.

In addition to this, getting certain resources is a chore. The price to profit ratio is pretty low.

How about also lowering the godaweful 5 minute cooldown of the cybertech grenades?
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

I second that. ~Imma-ding-50-and-i-wanna-kill-everyone-no-matter-how-long-they-are-playing-i-just-want-gimme-gimme-gimme~

And i don't like biochem's change. Slicing already is almost useless, let's make biochem same! Why you nerfing rakata's items step by step? What's point in 400 biochem now?

Yes, please. Forgot to mention this above, but the cooldown on grenades is really annoyingly long. The grenades aren't useful enough to warrant having such a long CD.

Fair concerns... but nobody said anything about nerfs for PvP gear just yet.

There are many ways of achieving our intended goal, from stabilizing early gear acquisition through diminishing/removal of the random factor to the introduction of new gear over time... and a dozen other methods in-between.

To spell it out: We currently have no intention to modify the stats on existing PvP gear downwards (which I assume you mean by 'nerf'). Nobody has talked about eliminating the gap between old level 50s and new level 50s either.

So...basically you are taking away the one thing that Biochem had over the other ones:

the slightly increased effect of Adrenals and Stims.

So...the obvious question is why be biochem ? I will just buy the 3 purple ones and drop biochem now.

The profession STILL needs something to make it a choice over, say, Synth weaving with its Best in Slot belt and bracers, for instance.

I think nerfing the Rakata Stims and Adrenals is a very poor decision made by very foolish devs. Making the Exotech and Energized available for everyone is smart, but nerfing the Rakata is retarded.

and as i read through, the Rakata ones will now be less effective than the Exotech ones...

WHY DEVS WHY DO YOU DO SUCH STUPID **** ITS INCONSISTENT AND MAKES NO SENSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With valor rank 68 and that much experience in pvp you still shouldn't have any problem killing new 50's. Don't be upset because skill will become a major factor now in a fight. Why so scared?

This post makes me laugh a little inside.. Ok maybe not a little but A LOT.

Congratulations George you are the best spoken person that has ever made a public utterance in the history of Swtor. That being said I have a little more faith that as long as you are still the voice of swtor in the years to come we will have more faith in the direction of the game. It appeasrs that you have finally told us what we wanted to hear. Also a first, tyvm. Keep it up, I don't want to have to force choke you like maximumpc magazine did on page 91 of this months issue.
