Hi,

I bought SW:TOR using Origin on November 19Th.

Yesterday I tried to redeem my game code but system tells me my key is already being used...

Any suggestion?

Some people already have their physical disk orders. Which would give them their codes...

Seems that the key Origin shows as "product key" is actually the Pre-Order code.

That's why is already been used...

I supposed will get the "final" key before launch...

edit: thanks all for your answers.

i assumed since he was talking about his origin preorder he wasnt talking about a physical disk order. and yes, the code you have from origin now is just your preorder code that you need for ega. you'll get the actual game code when they bill you.

Probably the Pre-Order Code, since I had the same issue. Apparently the Product Code will be released the day the game goes live. Why they never mentioned this in the email received after purchasing the game is beyond me.

Would've saved me a few hours of trying to find a Product Code to redeem (which doesn't exist yet), as well as a few more hours dealing with customer service.

As you can imagine, wait times are a little on the "long" side.

It's listed as Pre order code, not Product code, whats not to understand?

Clearly the scores of people asking the same thing means they're all stupid and there's no problem here.

"Digital Rights:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX"

That's what the Origin order confirmation calls it, not PRE-ORDER or PRODUCT, in the absence of any other terminology it's entirely reasonable for people think it's THE CODE no matter what Bioware call it.

I've played three MMOs pre-release and never had TWO codes for the same game, one code was enough to get me pre-launch play and post-launch play, TWO codes is just pointless complexity and the root cause of this utter confusion.
