Smart Scoundrels/Ops are dropping K.O entirely 1.5 sec is actually a waste of time since it takes 1.5 sec+ basic human reaction time to prepare to defend against a stealth class.

Better to do more damage than rely on a poor knockdown which means you now have an entire resolve bar to work with.

So this is a buff in a 1v1 scenario, they are now like old WoW rogues, having the potential to keep someone stun locked until they die. This is not NEARLY as much of a problem in a WZ which is where most of the PvP is done. You have team mates who can peel for you or heal you up or stun the op, before you would die before anyone could react.

So yea, you guys got a 1v1 buff in a small way, while the rest of us get to laugh at your less usefulness in WZs. I am totally okay with that

Backhand -> Ravage -> Force Choke -> Obliterate -> Smash

This also all seems to point towards the direction of 1 on 1 with someone which in my experience I play three toons between 35 and 50 nearly never happens in well played wz's.

Do ops/scoundrels not know what forcearmor/staticbarrier is?

With the nerf of your opening damage, and ill give you a full 6 second stun. I will laugh when my sage stands up, reapplies force armor, /lol's you heals through your lack of continuous dps.

After you vanish into thin air at the first sign of another player or realize that my DoTs are doing more to you then you are to me I will proceed to /dance and /sexy


Reduced debuff + 20%increased shield absorption = operatives are joking.
Back off... And let me do my Job.

As I scratch my head for WZ utility I do see some.

CW, will mean folks might not want to leave 1 person to a turret. Never really cared for this strat myself but you do see it from time to time.

Huttball, for severely diminished valor gains you could wait on ramps or platforms for ball carriers.

I still don't see it as sizable a buff as it's being made out to be from a non-1v1 standpoint, but time will tell.

I will enjoy the attention being taken away from one of my pvp toons adv class again.

Obviously you never ever played an Ops/Scoundrel, made apparent by the lack of knowledge of the class.

Sure you go ahead and "try" to heal, get interupted and then what? your static barrier got eaten by the Scoundrel that followed you and timed there opener, you can't heal because they interupt you and save there stuns for when you try to (K.O dropped for more sustained damage) in the meantime they just root you so you can't force speed away from them.

And as for "lack of damage" I noticed all of a 1k damage loss on top end shoot first crits....big deal.
