I am not sure if this is the right section to post this, but i would like to suggest a few things regarding the loot from normal mode operations. My guild has cleared all content on normal and hard mode and we are currently progressing on nightmare mode.

When we are running normal mode EV and KP to gear up people, we find it really frustrating that we cant give the loot to the people that need it. Its pure RNG and most of us dont even need the gear for our companions.

It would be really great to have an "Opt out" choise, like there is in Warhammer's Public Quests. In warhammer you can opt out if you dont need anything from a certain encounter, thus "passing" on any loot, but you still get the marks that the bosses drop. Something similar on normal mode operations would be great.

normal mode is suppose to be puggable and so they have put the loot like that to prevent ninja's from stealing the loot.

Yes, but you are missing the point of OP. They are using normal modes as a means to gear up new players. In theory, they should be able to just kill bosses and reward gear to whoeever needed.

With the assigned loot system, not only you have to get lucky on drops and hope that the bosses drop the gear for that undergeared player's class , you also have to hope that that said player gets lucky a 2nd time and gets auto-assigned that loot. Not only that, sometimes luck may come a 3rd time where the said player have to get lucky and get assigned loot on bosses whose loot he/she does not already have.

Its these 3 layers of RNG that can be frustrating and makes gearing up in normal mode timing consuming.

That being said, you can run hardmode flashpoints nonstop and get the columi drops. That migth be a faster way to gear up and use normal operations as just something in additional to running hardmode flashpoints.
