It also lines out the same reasons I and several of my friends are done with the game already after this month. We were going to try to wait it out, but we just can't, it's not fun. We decided we might try back again in a year when the game might be ready for release.
So why would it be fun in a year when it isnt now?

While I do not agree on all your points, a lot of what you're saying is reasonable.

We need more posters like this guy and less fanboys and haters.
To be honest, this guy hurt our game by posting a review that says (authoritatively) DO NOT BUY THE GAME. He doesn't suggest it, he doesn't act impartial with his observations that lead him to this conclusion, he just basically shouts at the reader DO NOT BUY THE GAME.

Even though pretty much EVERYONE is satisfied with the initial purchase, people just don't know if it's worth resubbing for generally. Honestly? He was hardly constructive, he offered no real suggestions, he attacked parts of the game that are almost universally proclaimed as awesome, and he told people not to buy the game.

Instead, I found one that did a POOR job of re-using the same mold. That's the disturbing part. Not only did they essentially just make a typical MMO clone, they did a bad job of it.
Bioware didn't hit the mark for you, did they?

However, keep in mind that you aren't the only person they created this game for. There are many others who might find the content appealing, entertaining, and having met their expectations. I am not defending Bioware or the game itself, I have found myself both bored and entertained at different times throughout my game play... but I do attribute mine to MMO fatigue, because that is the case for me.

OP is correct in almost every sense. SWTOR, although a solid MMO is not the second coming, it's tired, contrived and incredibly linear. I've been playing since release and have only reached level 33 because I physically and mentally cannot handle the tedium of linearity for more than 2-3hrs at a time. I'll remain a loyal subscriber until the completion of the main story arc before deciding whether I'll push on or not.

I saw someone say they wanted alternate zones/planets to play through.
Perhaps they will add the ability to have BRANCHES in the story.

For example for each companion point have 2 to choose from by the choices you make in the story. This way not all Jedis get Kira Maybe they get another Padawan to train. Perhaps a Salonian..

Perhaps Consulars Could get something other then a Trandoshan as a tank pet. Perhaps when making these choices the abilitys you learn along the way are different then if you chose differently.

What i was expection from this game was Mass Effect in a starwars suit. In that i was let down.

Overall I am having fun playing. Its a Single player game with MMO features and thats what i wanted.

So group quests that bring people together that are worth while, I don't care what wow had, I am talking about this game, the one they spent a few hundred million on.

It might be fast for you, but I just hit 5 full hours of /played on my main character that only hit level 41.

I have 4 other characters that have around 1 day /played on them (on average).

I have been getting home from work, and playing this game until I go to bed. I still think the leveling is slow (well at the right pace).

He doens't have to be impartial or give suggestions on how to improve the game.

I think you need to learn what a review is:

(from Wiki) A review is an evaluation of a publication, a product or a service, such as a movie (a movie review), video game, musical composition (music review of a composition or recording), book (book review); a piece of hardware like a car, home appliance, or computer; or an event or performance, such as a live music concert, a play, musical theater show or dance show. In addition to a critical evaluation, the review's author may assign the work a rating to indicate its relative merit

So basically it's his evaluation of the game, nothing more, nothing less.
can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out.

At the right pace?

Lol sorry but I doubt you have played many mmo's to say that, it's quicker to level to 50 in this than rift, and rift as too quick also.

I have 1 49, 42, 24, 18 and a 13.

This is not playing non stop either.

Even if they added in some lower level raid dungeons (no don't many tank and spank world bosses they have, that is not proper raid content)

Or made certain parts of your class quest optional to be group mode or something, just something that isn't so solo friendly.
