I have active subscriptions in Rift and Swtor atm.
For the price, I have not played an MMO better than Rift. In terms of sheer bang for your buck, the game is unmatched among MMOs.

- The game client is incredibly stable.
- Bugs are few and non-game-breaking, often correct day of- as in hours of release. No joke.
- Large content patches are released monthly; new raids, dungeons, events &/or features have been added every month since launch.
- Hotfixes are weekly
- Support is stellar in all regards
- PTR is open 99% of the time
- Endgame content is superb in design
- Lateral gear progression among group content and solo content
- No repeats of 10/20 man raids. 10 man raids are their own unique zone and 20 mans are their own unique zone
- Tremendous flexibility in class setup
- More quality of life features than I can possibly name form AOE looting, to on-the-fly UI adjustment (every UI element can be modded by default), seamless addons, costume gear, facebook access from the in-game chat, etc etc
- Alternative advancement

That's why, right now, I'm playing RIFT and not SWTOR.

But yeah, thread has gone a bit off-kilter. That's my cue to exit.

You have a big complaint about not having macros. There is a solution. Get a logitech G13 Gameboard. I use one and can do macros all day long. and it has a stick too for navigating, just assign WASD to each direction.

I dont use macros for everything, I dont want it to be a crutch.

Not having macros built into the game then complaining about it is stupid, there are solutions if you would bother looking.

Really him complaining about not having macros on the game is stupid?. How about instead of him wasting his money on a keyboard something he already has, he just gets his moneys worth from a 60 dollar game and 15 dollar monthly fees he paid for, a game that supposedly broke the MMORPG budget record and took years to develop. What a joke. I swear it seems most of these people who think people compaining is wrong must have their parents paying for everything.

How many developers do they need to devote to something like that? 10? How much would it cost the company just so the few who like macros but are unwilling to spend $75 on a G13 gameboard can use macros?

Isn't it kinda standard for MMOs? I mean... Rift had them at launch, WoW had them shortly after, if not on, launch. EQ2 has them...

I mean, it's nice when your tank says "I activated my CDs!" because that means I don't ahve to heal him as intensely as I've been doing. I can now worry about other's peoples health for the next 5-10 seconds.
