Now on Amazon, got it. People will be looking to read before they buy something but on this site what is the point of posting a review from someone who hasn't even reached level 37 on one character, on one faction. Not being a fanboi or anything but If I was reading your review on Amazon and you said you quit after reaching level 36 out of 50 your review would not carry much weight for me personally. Well I don't think on Amazon I would even attempt to read something that long anyway. I just did it this time out of shear curiosity.

But you're entitled to your opinion, good luck with whatever game suits you.
I pretty sure you can read posts even if you did not buy the game, and I'm sure BW would like input in this format as well, if you don't agree then go start a review as detailed as this one about how you like the game.

It has been over 1 month that the game launched.. all the mature players already know the weakness and strong points of this game.. Do you really think a wall of post about how someone feels about the game will make others to change their mind..
The community already pointed out many issues and I see BW is trying to fix it.. is there any new valid point in these "this is why i quit" posts.. apart from childish narcissism ?

If you have already quitted this game how the community is going to be "benefited" from it ? Why should we need to know the reason behind your "nerdrage" ?

/peace

Most people buying it, liking it and playing it, don't bother with reviews.

Most people who didn't like it, should move on because few consumers bother with reviews.

Right, but can we have a board for 'feedback and quitting' posts? Leave general chat for those who are playing.

I am also baffled at the amount of time naysayers spend writing negative reviews. I agree with a few that said that they simply moved on if they didn't like a game. Why spend all the time and effort to get people to steer clear?

What do you get from the effort really? Is someone paying you? Do you get some personal satisfaction? I would really like to know. Is it that your sadness or disappointment is so profound that you're trying to find a cathartic release by talking about it in such depth?

I smell a rat!

Seriously! Someone help me out. The last game I bought, played, and hated, was immediately deleted from my computer. The only time I ever talk about it is when a friend asks me what I thought about the game. Then I might try to steer them clear of wasting their money. Are we all friends of the OP and he's just trying to help a brother out?

Seems odd to me.

OP, read the whole thing. Seems the majority of your talking points focused on criticizing the game are more or less "justified" (has proof showing why it's bad) but I can't say I don't enjoy this game. Seems to me your standards are very high in everything regarding gameplay, or lack of content in gameplay. Just pointing this out because you blatantly say at the end, "Don't buy this game, its no fun and no good". I can't speak for everyone who is like me (haven't played a recent MMO) but I generally enjoy the gameplay and quests. Only get annoyed when the game makes me go back and forth across long distances (Corellia, amirite). I have made my Agent, got him to 50, doing 98% of the quests in each planet and devoting alot of time to every aspect of the game. I freaking love this game and find myself anxious to play it some more, and keep playing. This game does it for me. Not debunking your statements regarding content, fixes, functionality promised yet not implemented. I have noticed some of these and I find them upsetting. These are serious issues and should be addressed quickly and adequately.

Maybe if I had played some WoW I would share your opinion, but since I didn't, I hope you can understand why I can enjoy the "repetitive, un-original, difficult" quests I find myself doing. Overall, a great read. Opened my eyes to issues I didn't know about, so thanks .

Teal Deer:

You have some good points being made, but you can't just tell the world the game is no good. We may all be playing the same game, but we will each like and dislike certain things more than others. Your opinion is not ours. Great points covered, though judging overall game by exclusively comparing elements from other games shouldn't be the way to go about telling people what to think about ToR.

Well first thing is you just blasted the game after trying one class story. Ever think maybe you would have more fun trying another. second thing is the game is a month old. No game is ever polished and perfect after a month. They hire new writers every day to make new stories for the future. This is also the first MMO most of these guys have ever done so once they get the hang of things it will get a lot better. If you dont like it fine, but dont ruin it for other people who have there own opinions. I do agree that the Imperial/Republic ratio is off but I do believe the reason that has happened is most people in this day and age, especially adults, dont like to be a super goodie 2 shoes. I think that is why the republic is getting such a little boost in ranks which is killing the chances that most PvPers will play anything but huttball when it comes to warzones. Personally I cant wait to see what they come up with. Patience is the only thing I can suggest.

These type of threads are like a nightmare about a social engineering experiment gone terribly wrong.

Fortunately all the people talking bad about the game *constantly* is only going to make more people curious. Ever watch a movie just because people say how bad it is? You might agree or disagree after but you just can't help but watch it.
