Why I'm not playing.

If you live in front of you computer. MAYBE.
But thats exactly the same as WoW. Two weeks is all you need for any game's content if you live in your computer room.
I do not live in front of my computer and it will take me months to see all the enf game content.

Straight up lie. You cannot beat any 4+ heroic areas with simply your companion unless you grossly overleveled for the planet. OH AND BY THE WAY...the OP said the companion was useless?

So which is it OP? I'm dying to know.

Is the companion useless or is the companion too powerful? Please tell me.

I generally don't do things that I hate.

I read the entire OPs post. Very lengthy. Then, I paged through other replies and such. I got to Bob's post and I read his entire review of the review. After spending time thinking about both sides of everything and of course including my own personal experience and knowledge into this. I have to say I agree more with Bob.

Maybe it's just me... I could be wrong, but...

Doesn't anyone else find it mildly amusing that someone who dislikes and (seemingly) hates the game so much came back to a forum that they are not likely to read, just to post negativity about it?

It would be like a star wars fan posting a negative review of a star trek film on their forums, just to irritate them.

No. No way. It does NOT take hardcore playtime to cap out everything you can do at 50. As a matter of fact, Datacrons are the most time consuming thing you can do, and that most of the time literally means walking around barren lifeless planets or waiting 2 hours for a balloon to roll by.

Yeah, awesome gameplay. Totally worth the 60 dollar price tag. Wait, i can pay you 15 bucks a month as well for no reason? Awesome!

He doesnt hate the game, he wants the OBVIOUS faults to be fixed. You should be thanking him.

I didn't read the OP because I assumed after reading shorter more direct versions of the exact same thing here before I already knew what it said. But, after reading yours I was curious to see if I was wrong, so I did.

Yet I was sadly disappointed to find I was right, "I didn't enjoy the game, quit after a couple weeks and feel no one should play/buy the game."

With all the relatively minor flaws this game has, I'm enjoying it. What I don't understand is need people here have to devote so much of their lives to creating a what breaks down to a 5 page report on a game they really don't enjoy.

If they lock or delete this, which you KNOW they will, I beg you to re-post it. This is perhaps the most informative, spot-on and HONEST opinion piece about SWTOR I have seen thus far.

Not only do you provide bullet points on everything I, myself would also point out as serious flaws but you give REASONS for them as well. Reasons that only the most ignorant and die-hard fanboy could deny.

So kudos to you sir / madam for saying what so many of us wish we had the eloquence to say.
