Hood On/Off Toggle?

It would be child's play to fix this. All of the models are already done. Every robe in game has a hoodless version that we have seen in screenshots and videos on this very website.

They are all two clicks away from the post you are reading right now.

Devs, make the Knights happy. Either give us the hood toggle that would simply toggle back and forth between two chestpieces you have already designed fully, or if that is hard for some reason I can't fathom,

just put in the hood down chest pieces in orange moddable versions and distribute them among the commendations vendors and call it a day.

There is no reason to keep the Guardian players unhappy when pleasing us is so simple and so logical and so clearly the right thing to do.

Why is EVERYONE forgetting about the Sentinels ? They got the crappy "hood only" gears too... Seriously guys, please let's talk about "jedi knights" and stop pretending sentinels don't matter.

I second this. I personally want a toggle option and I want it also to be so that I don't have my hood disappear when wearing a helmet or mask.

Original clothing. No hood. And actually beautiful textures.

Okay well, in NO WAY the game can look that good, weither it is technical (textures) or art style (basic colour swap of ugly and glitchy bath robes).

So it's not just "guardians."

You misunderstand me. I only pointed out my example based on that banner from that link I posted (http://www.swtor.com/guilds/faq) with the Guardian shown in that armor style. I wholeheartedly agree with you that this is a quality oversight encompassing the whole Jedi Knight class.

they should have added it for launch people in the beta were wanting it to begin with.

I honestly didn't know Sentinels were in the same boat. Of course you should also get hood down gear. I only knew how bad the problem was on our side of things.

But you at least have an orange version of the final Tython chestpiece in a Medium. I know because my Guardian is wearing it. We don't get a single hood down chest piece that is moddable. I know one isn't much better than none and I fully sympathize with Sentinels stuck in hood mode with us. I want us all to win, not just some of us.

My friend gets annoyed, as I say this a lot about the game, but when it comes to cosmetics and how a few other features are handled:

LOTRO had this years ago. Why would you not crib them?

Now see THIS is what I want to find for my Sentinel! That stuff actually looks good.

Oh well guess its use the "Aspiring Knight's Vest" or find some moddable medium Armormech gear that doesn't end up adding +Cunning.

Starting my new character today. I've pretty much accepted, this being an MMO, that even though this would be a minor thing to fix, it'll probably be at least 6 months or so before its even addressed, when you realize the laundry list of things that have to come before it.

So out of curiosity, for those who have tried both, what was more fun, Vanguard Trooper or Scoundrel Smuggler? And how do they compare in story?
