There's a huge difference in an item saying 'limited to <class>' and an item with no restrictions. What you are trying to coerce is an ideal that because you feel it better suits you, that everyone should agree and pass it straight to you. That's greed or selfishness, you pick.
What is that baseball bat in your signature? Oh! It's a lightsaber! How cute is that !

Agreed. Just replace it with Roll.

In truth, this is only an issue for PuG players.

Guilded players have little trouble putting groups together.

Why would I run a PuG to improve someone’s situation (gear improvements) that I'll likely never see again when I can run with guildies and better my situation regardless of who gets the gear?

This debate raged on in WoW for years. Ultimately, if you can roll on it and profit from it in any way, it’s justified.

It’s harsh, but if you don’t like it, again…… find a guild.
An enemy on your six should stay on your six, or at least try too.

Roll/Pass would remove 100% of loot drama as well.

If the description of the piece has the class listed within it's name, then Bioware intended that piece for that class. For someone that tries to use big words all through out his/her argument constantly to show your intelligence, it's humorous that basic reading comprehension is beyond your understanding.

Well leaving in the 'pass' would then bring up the demand that others 'pass' on some item another feels is wholly theirs by some other imaginary entitlement.

Nope, it's basic understanding of the English language. You taking an item created for another class when that class is present in the group is you being greedy or selfish. Either you don't understand the meaning of basic English words, or you're greedy. It's one or the other (may both).

Work with me here... you just disagreed with me because you agreed with me.

In short, just what I said... how does this harm my reading comprehension, exactly?

On many occasions loot drops that would be ideal for a specific class, unless the item actually specifies the class tho, it is likely the item could be used by another class.

Reading comprehension cannot be blamed when you fail to specify your argument. We can't just guess what exactly you meant, so we take what you posted.
